I was initially thinking to just let this meal experience here go… but my wife had insisted I post a review here to warn/remind the people who are traveling around here to AVOID this restaurant at all cost, unless you are only here for a quick beer and toilet break. For a plain tomato pasta with pathetic touch of burrata, we got charged for EUR18. The pasta is definitely undercooked, and they insisted that it is al-dente, and the taste is so plain that I can’t even taste any tomato… we also ordered a 300ml beer which is EUR 4.8, and not surprised, we got charged for coperto(i.e. cover charge) of EUR 2.5 per pax, which in return we got some cold and old bread, and they don’t even bother to give us olive oil and balsamic until we asked for it. The view from the restaurant can be nice, but there are a lot of flies around as well, and if you think to sit outdoor and enjoy some fresh mountain air, good luck with that, as you will only enjoy second hand smoke… Seriously, fella mountain travelers, just pack your own foods and drinks instead of...

I’ve been eating lunch with two friends in this restaurant and we should have actually already noted the first red flag, it was almost empty, while all other skiing huts in the proximity were really crowded. Nevertheless we sat down and the waiter approached us with a semi friendly mood and handed us the menu. on first glance it looked half decent but after ordering and receiving the food we immediately new why the whole restaurant was empty. I have never eaten such bad pasta in my life and on a side note I’ve eaten a lot of bad pasta. So based on what I had (pasta with some sort of bolognese and chocolate) I do strong recommendations to avoid this place, do yourself a favor! I’d rather starve...

If you enjoy good food, save your taste buds and do not come to this restaurant. During our experience, we ordered two steaks and a pasta. While ordering, we were asked by the staff how well we would like the meat cooked in which we requested medium well and medium rare. The food arrived within the next 5 minutes and looked and tasted like it was preheated in the microwave. The meat was very chewy and didn't taste good. Not really sure why the staff asked how we would like the meat to be cooked as both meats were cooked the same and clearly not made fresh. Incredibly disappointing to have had this experience in the middle of the alps. Also, the pasta...

After today's visit to this restaurant, I unfortunately have to write a very negative review. Despite there being about six idle waiters and only one occupied table, the service was incredibly unpleasant. Instead of letting us peacefully choose from the menu, they shoved it into our hands and told us that if we weren't going to have lunch, we should leave. As a result, we decided to have lunch elsewhere. Even though the environment and surroundings are beautiful, due to such poor service, we will definitely not be returning here for a meal.

Passo Sella, located in the Italian Alps, offers stunning views of the Dolomites and a unique dining experience. This restaurant is known for its alpine cuisine, combining local ingredients with traditional Italian dishes. Service could be better, but I’ll take that being in so remote location and parking that’s another story… Popular items often include various pasta dishes, polenta, and hearty mountain fare like speck and cheese. The ambiance is typically cozy, with a rustic yet elegant mountain chalet vibe.
