Based on the great reviews, we (family of 5 incl. 3 kids aged 7, 4 and 2) decided to stay here for 2 night on our way back from Umbria to Holland. Honestly, I find it hard to understand all great reviews. Yes there are positive elements; vicinity to highway whilst the surroundings are beautiful, the owners friendly - especially Nadir - (I have had more enthusiastic owners but okay), pizzas good and the communication is clear and quick. But on the flip side: toilets (too few and majority just holes) are dirty and so small you can't enter or leave without bumping to the pots. Places small and cramped together. Majority of places is filled with caravans that appear to stay for a long time and campers, relatively few tents. Parking your car happens outside the camping on the other side of the road which is okay of course (even a great benefit with little kids), but not if you get charged for that as well. Showers are free but only for 2 minutes per person per day (additional 2 minutes charged 50ct each). Not a lot, certainly not as the water temperature varies. |In summary, it isn't a very bad campsite, though it certainly is not a very good one either. Pitches are too small and cleanness is lacking too much. I am sure my view is biased as I prefer little campsites with perfect conditions, but in all honesty I just struggle to understand the...
Read moreWe stayed here for three nights during our TMB trip as a group. The prices were very reasonable, lovely quiet camping spot and we really enjoyed our stay.|The 2 toilet blocks and shower facilities were excellent with proper seated toilets, very well maintained and hot showers (paid per minute). There is also a laundry room and plenty of washing up sinks.|The staff are very helpful and they run a bar/cafe/pizzeria open all day which did delicious food for breakfasts and dinner and also has a deli for buying ingredients for your packed lunch. There is also a little shop with essentials although no camping gas.|The shuttle bus to courmayeur and up val ferret is free and frequent with a bus stop right outside the campsite.|A great stay here and highly recommend to tmb trekkers for a bit of a luxury stay compared to...
Read moreThe campsite is located in a pine forest. For tents, there isn’t much space available. Showers are free for the first 2 minutes, after that, it costs 0.5 € per extra minute. Toilets were clean. There’s even a laundry room with washing machines, however you’ll need to pay extra to use them, as well as for detergent if needed.
There’s no common kitchen or shared kettles, but you can ask for some hot water if necessary. You can also order homemade pizza at the bar.
A free shuttle bus stops right in front of the entrance, making it easy to get to the center of Courmayeur or in the opposite direction toward Arp Nouva to continue the TMB. Card payment was available.
Prices as of June 2025: 5.5 € for a tent, 9 € per adult, 5 € per child, and...
