The hotel and the surroundings are enchanting. The staff are very friendly and usually helpful. One thing they could have advised us about was the transportation to and from the town, which is an over an hour walk down a very steep road. There is a bus once every hour but one will be denied a bus ride without a mask, what was that happened to us as we didn't know. ||||The location is great for admiring the magnificent mountain peaks but not so much for getting to restaurant, shops, etc, without a car. The breakfast is delicious, served by a lovely lady (with a ponytail). The staff were very accommodating when we're checking out - they kindly assisted us in finding info about the traffic delays at Tunnel du Mont-Blanc, served us coffee, etc. Overall, pleased with everything at the hotel. Next time we'll know...

Passing through the Italian border late at night proved to be a tiring but exciting experience. Fortunately, we managed to get a last minute booking and this great hotel. ||Winding up in the quiet and unassuming village of Pre-Saint Didier proved to be a highlight of this working trip, and this was made possible by the stay at such a remarkable hotel. The staff were very helpful and patient with my terrible Italian dialogue. The room matched the 10/10 service and was complete with a brand new bathroom and the cleanliness was impeccable.||Highly recommend this hotel when...
