After checking in, we went up to our room for about half an hour before heading out. We also checked that we still hadn’t received the Brixen Card by email. So I went down to ask the reception.
The staff there didn’t seem willing to talk to me. She said they already sent to the email and asked if we had checked in the junk mail. I told her my friend was still in the room so I just wanted to see the email they sent first, to make sure it was sent to the correct address. But instead, she just handed me the paper where my friend wrote her email earlier (which didn’t help at all, clearly the email wasn’t wrong).
At 14:33, my friend checked again and the email with the Brixen Card link had just arrived at 14:33. We told her we just received, she looked annoyed and sighed without even a simple apology. Honestly, I didn't mind if she forgot or sent it late but she insisted she already sent it and acted annoyed at us
To be honest, she didn’t seem welcoming from the start. During check-in, she placed the keys down quite harshly and rushed through the hotel information like she just wanted to get it over with.
You can check the CCTV on 25/09/25 from 14:27 to 14:35.
But to be fair, the hotel itself is beautiful with the garden and has varieties of breakfast, the other staff were very nice both in the restaurant and at reception, except for this one person. Sorry to give 1 star but she really ruined what should have been a nice stay (and a nice...
Read moreWonderful location. Modern apartments with nice kitchens and bathrooms... located in an old cloister attached to a church in a quiet part of town.||My friends stayed in one superior apartment and I stayed in a studio apartment for four days. Loved it. Ten minute walk to the train station and same for the old town. ||Staff were very friendly and accommodating.||Breakfast was quite plentiful and tasty for a reasonable €10 per morning at the Hotel Traube adjacent to the apartments where the front desk/check-in is located. The hotel also owns a local restaurant in the old town. Traubenwirt. You get a 10% discount as a hotel guest. Fantastic pizza.||The “Brixen Card” is included. It entitles you to free public transportation (including buses and regional trains throughout Südtirol!), free gondola rides, and free entry to museums all over the region including the Val Gardena, Bolzano and Merano areas. My friends and I saved loads of money with these cards.||Price point is good. Brixen/Bressanone is lovely. I would stay here again in...
Read moreThe team at the reception desk were very helpful when I arrived and were happy to take time to give me the advice I asked for about visiting the local area. The room was clean and spacious for a single room, the breakfast was very good with a wide selection of items, they also include coffee time with snacks in the afternoon from 15:00-1630. On top of this you get the brixen card for the duration of your stay which gives you access to lots of touristy things and the local public transport network. All in all a great stay and if I'm ever back in the area Hotel Traube will be at the top of my...
