We stayed one night at this hotel which is located right in front of the Gallarate train station. On the same side there is a small shop of African and Asian products. I was afraid of hearing the noise of the train, instead, at a certain time they no longer travel and, before, nothing or little is heard, the windows have double glazing, and there is an electric shutter. The room with two beds is smaller, compared to how it looks from the photos, but comfortable for two people and for a few nights. The flat-screen TV is positioned in my opinion too high, forcing you to keep your neck in tension to look at it, it would be just a few centimeters below, instead of the immense painting. There is a small table with snacks, a wardrobe with a sliding door, extra blankets, lots of lights and unfortunately the TV light on stand-by which I couldn't turn off and who bothered me all night, maybe I could have called the lobby, but I was too sleepy to do so. The bathroom was clean, large, with double roll of toilet paper, soap and shower shampoo, several freshly laundered towels. The radiators are adjustable. It was very hot. There is wi-fi but I did not use it because there was a problem with the optical key, in fact I could not open it and the lobby clerk went up to let me in, only then he took via the "key" and password was written there. But it does nothing, I didn't need it. The room was on the third floor and next to the elevator there is a distributor of drinks, water and snacks. Great breakfast, sweet and savory. Jams, biscuits, cakes, cheeses... He immediately called us a taxi and we went to Malpensa fairs, 8 km = 14 euros...
Read moreI have stayed in many hotels all over Europe and the service i received in my time of need puts this hotel at the very top.||On our way home at Malpensa my elderly mother suffered a bad accident at the airport and ended up at a hospital in Milan. At 3am I was desperate for somewhere to stay. Stranded and completely lost I needed a hotel as I roamed the streets with my suitcase. ||One hotel told me to go away and move from their door. I then found that Hotel Nuova Rotaia had a 24 hour reception and decided to turn up in the middle of the night and beg for a room.||Elio was simply magnificent. He booked me in and provided so much support. In fact, during my two days all of the staff were just incredible. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I will never forget this one. ||The rooms are clean, efficient and the breakfast good. It is also directly opposite the station to get a train to the airport.||What makes this hotel one of the best in the world though is the staff. Simply incredible. All of them.||Customer service is just outstanding.||A huge thank you to all of the staff at the hotel from me and my mom.||You will forever be...
Read moreThis hotel is AMAZING. Very clean, very professional. We were promptly greated in multiple languages upon arrival. The staff had to register our ID information, as normal. The shower was hot, the sheets clean and tight.
I mentioned that we would need to get to the airport early the next morning, and a few minutes later the reception called US, to tell that the taxis were on strike, and the train would not leave until much too late. They informed us that their own driver was already booked to take people to the airport very early in the morning and so we wound up splitting the cost with the other group. The staff even made sure to get the feasible early breakfast items out there early in the morning, so we could eat a little.
Right next to the train station, it's very easy to get to, and we're so glad we chose this hotel, or we'd never have been able to make our flight.
(the picture shows 2 out of the 3 twin beds in the room, which is what we expected and signed up for, that's all...
