Portum residence & luxury rooms — Hotel in Giardini-Naxos

I made a booking for hotel on booking. Com to check in on the 26th August for 2 nights with my family. We got there around 2300hrs but I couldn't find the place. So I parked the car on the side and left my family in the car and went to see where this so called hotel is. I couldn't find the place so I approached some people and tried to ask them but they started charging me so I ran and got into the car and drove off. After that I saw a spin of the hotel behind and noticed the hotel with zooming in with my mobile phone. The so called hotel was in the residential area where they had all flats and the ground floor seemed to be the hotel. I then checked reviews of the property and people said its in a residential area and someone even tried to break in the room of one of the guests a day before. I contacted booking. Com many times and they charged me £169.99 cancellation instead of returning my money in full. I called them a few times screen shots attached and spent a long time on her phone. They just seem to follow a script and don't take in consideration what I have been through. I hence want my full refund back for this transaction and another one which I will raise also...

Firstly the rooms are fairly nice. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly which is the only reason I gave 2 stars. However there are a couple of issues. The rooms are not soundproof at all and you will hear anyone speaking infront of your door, in the lobby or in the breakfast area. I did not get a good nights sleep in the time I was there. The hotel is in the cellar of a gated community apartment complex. It’s a shame that they invested in such a location. It’s probably one of the weirdest hotels I have ever been too. The location is good if you have a car otherwise I’m not sure how you would get the city. I think it’s around 35 minutes walking distance. Quattro stelle non significa solo moderno. Voglio partire spiegando l'enorme punto positivo della struttura: la cordialità del personale. Passiamo al resto. La reception si trova in una specie di seminterrato di un palazzo, all'interno di un residence di diverse palazzine. In questo seminterrato sono presenti delle camere e la sala per la colazione. In quest'ultima se dovessero presentarsi tutti i clienti insieme non ci entrerebbero, a meno che non ci si trasformi in ninja. Ma la colazione è molto buona e il personale è d'oro. Noi avevamo avuto un upgrade di stanza, la deluxe room: una stanza distaccata dal complesso sopracitato, con un piccolissimo spazio verde sintetico in cui sono presenti due sdraio e un tavolino. Bene, aprimo la porta (unico spazio che spalanca all'esterno, insomma niente finestre da aprire ma una grande fissa per far entrare il sole); per due persone bisogna mettersi d'accordo per muoversi all'interno, il bagno non ha finestra e anche qui bisogna essere persino magri per muoversi; basti pensare che il lavandino si trova dietro la porta e bisogna chiuderla per far uso dello stesso lavandino. Linea internet assente, segnalato più volte ma mai che abbia funzionato. Dulcis in fundo: la spiaggia vicino l'albergo ha un divieto di balneazione per acque inquinate, in realtà buona parte della costa di Giardini Naxos. Ovviamente non dipende dall'albergo ma sarebbe stato un grande punto a favore in quanto si trova a pochi metri. Ma vi elenco le altre cose positive: letto comodo, frigobar utile, aria condizionata, convenzione con un lido che potrebbe non avere il divieto, servizi come massaggi ed...
