Hotel Kyrie Tremiti — Hotel in Isole Tremiti

We stayed 4 Nights at the Kyrie Hotel. First of all we want to resume that despite our negative Review (1 Star) we had a lovely time on Tremiti Island thanks to the beautiful nature in which the hotel is located and the very Kind and pleasant staff of Kyrie Hotel (at least the majority). The Hotel itself does not live up a 4 Star category Hotel (especially its Service) in our opinion. When we arrived it didn't even occur the driver of the included shuttle to help me or my wife with our luggage. An unpleasant way of being 'welcomed'. His unhelpful and unfriendly way was the same every time we made use of the shuttleservice from the hotel to the port. In general we would have expected more service for example when checking in there were no informations given to us, that there is a private beach,... There are Pool opening Hours (10-13 and 16-20), the fact itself is beyond me why you wouldn't want the People to Go to the Pool the hottest Time a day, which we weren't told although we were calling before, since a Pool was crucial for the decision staying at Kyrie. Same with the wifi, although in the description, the wifi was only in the lobby and didn't connect with any of our devices throughout the whole stay. When asking why it doesn't work the receptionist showed his private mobile phone with the words 'look, mine is working maybe there are too many people using it'. Breakfast was very delicious with freshly made juices. One morning while being at the buffet to refill a boy, it appeared as if he was part of the hotel, took my chair although my wife was sitting still at the table right next to the chair he took and didn't respond in any way of her carrying a new chair to the table so that I could sit down. Being experienced with Italian hotels, we didn't expect the staff to talk English very well but when calling for a reservation we were told to call again a few hours later cause no one was able to take our call. As part of our honeymoon travel plans we stayed here for a few nights. On arrival we were due to receive a welcome drink but nothing was served in my nativity I taught once a couple with sparky new rings and honeymoon mentioned was enough for any management company to whisk us off our feet..... Our room layout was basic to say the least and we had creepy crawlers on the walls most nights:( The hotel does have a pool but we did not use it as the seagulls liked to use it too. The breakfast served outside was nice but regularly we had to ask for a clean table. The breakfast selection was average also and items were slow to be refilled. As we visited the island in low season our stay was cut short as we were due to check into another hotel on the mainland later on that week. Our 6 day stay on Tremiti island was very relaxing. We spent a lot of time at the beach and a bit less on the pool. The hotel fit the eco/ nature ambiance of the island. The staff were friendly and helpful, but they can use a few more English speaking staff. The hotel and rooms were clean, food quiet good. The two biggest disadvantages were the level of noise in the rooms at night and less than optimal mattress quality. ||Another thing to be aware of is the size of the sand beach, one needs to go there either early in the morning or after 3 pm to be able to find a spot (especially more to the front).||Overall, our stay was pleasant and we had a relaxed time with lots of very...
