Bel Mare Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Isole Tremiti

We ate in this restaurant 15th of September waiting for the ferry to Termoli. We were interested in some of the items on the fish menu but we're disgusted by the lack of choice, and lack of understanding by the waiter

The choice compared with the advertised menu ihad even reduced by around 60 percent and the fish (spada) which was the one fish that other restaurants refered to as non Italian fish was, with the exception of fried squid the only possibilities.

The staff - the one guy, was over worked and evidently uninterested in our dilemna.

The quality of food was less than mediochre and the service despicable. My rating therefore: Service abominable Food quality pathetic Menu choice was extremely poor compared with the advertised menu. Quality price appalling. No dessert Coffee was available from an adjacent bar +unbelievable

Avendo il traghetto alle ore 13.50, ci siamo presentati alle ore 12.00. Ci viene detto di aspettare 10/15 minuti per la cucina. Nel frattempo ci fanno accomodare, e arrivano anche altri clienti. Alle ore 12.30, ci viene detto di aspettare ulteriormente e non ci viene portato ancora ne menú, ne da bere, mentre tavoli arrivati dopo di noi avevano già menú e acqua. Alle ore 12.45 esce la cameriera per prendere le ordinazioni (finalmente), ma pur essendo arrivati noi per primi, ha deciso bene di ignorarci completante, prendendo prima le comande dei clienti venuti dopo. A questo punto ci alziamo e ce ne andiamo senza mangiare e bere. (Così ha fatto anche un altro tavolo arrivato subito dopo di noi) Non posso giudicare il cibo perché non l’ho provato, ma in quanto a servizio, educazione e cortesia...

Location "casereccia" alla buona, terrazza sulla spiaggia con mare turchese, vista incantevole, preso spaghetti del pescatore, rossi, con diversi crostacei, buoni e abbondanti, e preso uno spaghetto alle vongole veraci (bianchi) che però erano quasi terminate e quindi la maggior parte erano le vongole classiche piccole, prezzo 15 euro come le veraci (ne ho contate 4 in tutto)...che dire....non so come definirle, in pratica erano condite con l'acqua che fanno le vongole quando si aprono e un pò di prezzemolo, quindi praticamente spaghetti senza sugo, sembravano appena scolati, sapore puntigliosamente salato dovuto all' acqua di mare, nessuna traccia di olio evo a galeggiare in questa acqua, che se buono avrebbe dato un po di sapore, mentre le poche concole erano discrete,...
