B.E.A. Maison, La Spezia — Hotel in La Spezia

We had a huge room with a window facing the city. The room was so clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Ale the owner recommended a great walk for our first day and the walk was the highlight of the stay. The breakfast was yum. One morning we got a warm pastry. The dogs give this place a nice feel and one joined me for breakfast one morning. The furnishing and final touches are so cute. Our host was very kind and helpful. It is difficult to find. Ale sent us gps coordinates thankfully. The parking is up steep driveway but if you don't want to go up you could park at the bottom easily. The stairs are steep up to the apartment. Oldies might struggle but we were fine. The bus stop is a five minute walk from the house and takes you straight to town. We left the car here both days. So easy. The place is so well maintained and organised. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The rooms are named with each of the daughters names, plus the mums. It's so...

I can't say enough about the great service the very owner of the place personally provided me While I was her guest. Let's talk about th he room!, clean modern full bathroom , the rest of the room is vintage style decorated (witch I love it) make you feel the real taste of Italy. My room had an amazing view of the city,I enjoyed eating my breakfast looking at the town views (priceless) You have access to a modern kitchen in case you want to make your own meals and a lovely living room with amazing views...yes...great views all over the place . We could have written the review that the previous disappointed customer wrote...We too were left stranded by the uncooperative||Owner..she must make a lot of money by using her prepaid policy.we were give a check in time of 11 am to 13.oo RIDICULOUS!! We also requested a later check in, which was accepted, and she would leave the key..We telephoned her to say that we had car trouble and would be a bit later, she point blank refused to help us as no one was on the premises, I was appalled to think about security, or even Fire regs. We booked thro' Booking.com they also were very unhelpful, supported the owner in the decision NOT to give us a refund..we the had to find a bed for the night and a high price for a last minute booking..Thank you B.E.A.
