Food was good and pricy but the service was awful. As a foreign guest you felt not welcome. We were there on a Thursday at 19:00h and only get a table at the bar area even if there were other better tables. We did not reserve a place but Italien people who did also not reserve got the better tables. Service was real slow, we were waving with arms but no one wanted to come to get our orders. It was a very nice experience to sit under this wonderful tree, enjoy the very friendly service and very good, Italian food - cucina a la mama! The primi piatti were wondeful, so were the Orata and the muscoli ripieni. Only the green salad for 4€ is a little bit over priced and ordering patate we didn't expect potato fries. Ci sono stato 15 anni fa portato da un amico appositamente per mangiare i ravioli. L'amico poi è venuto a mancare ma non ricordavo il nome e nemmeno dove fosse La Gira. Casualmente quest'anno ci sono ripassato davanti, impossibile non riconoscere quell'albero secolare proprio lì in mezzo a quell'ampio tornante. È stata una emozione ritrovare il locale il cui ricordo è legato ad un amico! Bene da allora ci sono già tornato 4 o 5 volte con famiglia, amici, amici e famiglia, devo dire che ho ritrovato lo stesso clima sereno di allora, la solita qualità dei piatti ed in particolare dei ravioli (ottime anche le frittelle). Il personale è sempre sorridente, cordiale e ben organizzato, tempi di attesa giusti anche se pieni, conto onesto (del resto chi mi ci aveva portato la prima volta era un ligure 😀).
