Hotel Amalfi — Hotel in Lignano Sabbiadoro

When I read some of the reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect, but we wanted to stay near the beach, and didn't want to spend too much. The position of the hotel is superb! Virtually 100 metres from the beach and right on the shopping and restaurant street! And the price included really nice breakfast buffet. The girls at the reception were kind and helpful (and they had free lollies for our kids). We stayed at the depandance and our room had a balcony overlooking the sea. The room was clean, the whole building was nice and clean, a/c worked perfectly, but the TV we can't comment on as we didn't use it at all. Wir haben im Hotel Amalfi nur eine Nacht verbracht. Für diesen kurzen Aufenthalt war es auszuhalten, aber ein zweites Mal würden wir nicht hier übernachten.

Das Hotel ist sehr einfach und günstig, was grundsätzlich kein Problem wäre – allerdings ist die Ausstattung stark vernachlässigt und teilweise sogar gefährlich: • Die Dusche lief nicht richtig ab, zudem musste man sich zwischen „eiskalt“ oder „kochend heiß“ entscheiden. Eine angenehme Wassertemperatur dazwischen war nicht möglich. • Unter dem Waschbecken war das Abflussrohr mit Klebeband notdürftig repariert. • Es gab keine richtige Bettdecke, sondern lediglich einen dünnen Überwurf. Beim Hinlegen fanden wir außerdem Sand auf der Matratze – absolut inakzeptabel. • Handtücher werden nur alle drei Tage gewechselt. • Der Balkontisch war beschädigt und hatte ein kleines Loch, die dazugehörigen Sessel waren kaputt, eine Lehne sogar gebrochen. • Steckdosen und Kabelverlegung wirkten improvisiert und unsicher. • Besonders gravierend: Im Kinderzimmer direkt am Bett war eine Wandlampe ohne Glühbirne und mit offenen Drähten angebracht – ein erhebliches Sicherheitsrisiko.

Frühstück: • Der Kaffee war wirklich lecker. • Der Saft kam aus dem Automaten (kein frischer Saft), aber das war kein Problem. • Es gab eine große Auswahl an Kuchen und Süßspeisen. • Das Gebäck (Toast, Semmel, Brot, Croissants) war für ein kleines Hotel völlig ausreichend. • Schinken und Salami waren leider warm. Tomate mit Mozzarella war in Ordnung, dazu eine kleine Auswahl an Gemüse (frisch und aus dem Glas). • Obst: nur frische Melone. • Aufstriche waren enttäuschend – lediglich Frischkäse in 5g-Packungen. In Summe war das Frühstück gut.

Positiv: Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei, und der Kühlschrank im Zimmer war sauber und in gutem Zustand.

Fazit: Für eine Nacht notfalls akzeptabel. Wer jedoch Sauberkeit, Sicherheit und ein Mindestmaß an Komfort erwartet, wird hier enttäuscht. Wir würden das Hotel nicht...

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per 5 notti e 6 giorni, la mia esperienza è stata terribile, arrivati in stanza noto subito la mancanza di cose fondamentali come l'aria condizionata, sostituita dal un ventilatore vecchissimo e pieno di polvere, assente anche il bagno privato come indicato su booking dunque oltre a dover condividere il bagno con sconosciuti il bagno stesso mancava di attrezzatura, come l'asciugacapelli che vabbe io ho i capelli corti e ad asciugarli ci mettevo poco, purtroppo però per la mia ragazza la cosa è stata traumatica, perché era costretta ad asciugare i capelli al ventilatore rischiando anche un bel mal di testa, chiesto un asciugacapelli in reception la loro risposta è stata, non ce l'abbiamo ce li hanno rubati tutti, comunque su booking l'oggetto era indicato nei servizi, ma adesso vorrei parlare della cosa più schifosa che un essere umano debba vivere in una vacanza, bene si in 6 giorni di soggiorno non mi è stata pulita la camera neanche una volta tantomeno cambiate le lenzuola del letto(scomodissimo), intanto nella camera affianco vedevo che veniva pulita quando uscivo dalla stanza, ho vissuto con sabbia in stanza per 6 giorni perché giustamente tornato dal mare non riesco a levare tutta la sabbia quindi inevitabilmente si è creato accumulo, tra le altre cose mi sono dovuto rifare il letto da solo, io ho pagato un servizio che non ho ricevuto, e questa struttura si metteva in tasca metà di una mensilità di stipendio offrendo un servizio pessimo almeno per me, per non parlare della "colazione" che li per se il cibo andava anche bene, ma le bevande erano amarissime o non sapevano di nulla, ho fatto l'errore di prendere un caffè, sono stato al bagno mezza giornata tanto che faceva schifo, unica cosa positiva la posizione ottima direi in mezzo a via Udine con ristoranti negozi e bar vicini, e a pochi passi dalla spiaggia.
