This is terrible service experience in a hostel I never had.
I want to change another room because the one was extremely smelly and I had stayed many hostel around Europe, However, this kind of smelly i can’t stay. I tried to open window and see if it works but nothing. I went to front desk to asked the guy to helped me change a room. He started saying i need to pay for an upper grade room with unfriendly and disrespectful attitude. He doesn’t clarify what upper grade for? Also I tried to explain the room was really terrible and then he decided go to the room with me and see how bad it is. He opened the whole window and use some perfume tried to make the room better but it wasn’t working after all. I tried to sleep but I couldn’t so I went to desk again and asked him how much I needed to pay. He said now I had to pay two things, 20€ for the room clean and 12€ for upper grade room. I was annoyed by his attitude and I pretty sure he knews how terrible smell in the room. I don’t understand why I need to pay another 20€ for room clean? Seems i already paid the room. And he said ok you just pay the upper grade and rest on me. I went to the room taking all my stuff and he yelled at me like HEY, I got the key for another room. What a good service
I gave him 15€ for what he said before, the upper room, but he was like why you gave me only 15€? Again, with a horrible attitude
I’m pretty sure he said TWELVE€ for the upper grade room.
After 20mins the guy came into my room and apologized his behavior , returned the 15€ also wanted to offer me a drink. But I mean, from the very beginning all I wanted was change a room and pay what he said, I don’t need this such drama.
This morning when I checked out the front desk lady tried to explain to me but still I couldn’t agree with another 20€ payment.
With this such poor service and misunderstanding explain i won’t never go back, and I want to let everyone knows that if you want change room?...

Some small things needs mending and an update but overall really good. Warm, friendly and welcoming staff that are eager to help out.
We had a problem in our room’s bathrooms, the sink knob did not work so has to use knobs on the pipes. Well sound isolated bathroom in the room.
The wifi in my dorm was coming and going, mostly gone all my stay.
My bed was comfy but had 1 problem it was just the lower half of a bunk bed. Even though I had draped the top was open so when people turned on the lamp in the middle of the night I woke up. And my room mates saw down in my bed when passing/looking down from top beds across the room. It was like they all had their own secluded place and I was in the open. (So if you can avoid the rooms with uneven...
Read moreI had a pleasant stay at this hostel! The place was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds that came with privacy curtains, which was a great touch for added personal space. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the amenities, making it easy to prepare meals, which I appreciated.
However, there were only three toilets and showers available for each floor, which led to some waiting during busy times. It would have been more convenient if there were additional facilities. Another suggestion would be to include drying racks in the rooms, as with 4-8 beds per room, things can get a bit stuffy, especially with everyone taking off their shoes.
On the positive side, the common seating area was a great place to relax, and the staff were incredibly friendly and cooperative, always ready to help.
Overall, it’s a good place to stay, with a few areas for improvement. I’ve attached some photos to give a better idea...
