I feel very bad to write this review I understand that this is not a 4 star hotel but I feel that I should write it for future guest. ||The hotel itself is dated. In our bathroom we could find a little bit of black mold between the ceramic everywhere. I don’t think it was dirty just probably the accumulation over time. ||The bed was the most inconfortable one that we ever slept in. The mattress itself was not as thick as a regular one. Pillows were flat as a pancake. ||Breakfast was less than basic. Again I understand that this is not a 4 star hotel but the coffee was serve in a small plastic cup from a machine. If you wanted to have a second one you had to ask the staff so that they could insert change in it. Plastic plate, plastic everything. ||On the bright side the staff was super friendly and the A/C in the room worked well. Grounds are beautiful as previously mentioned however things that you look for when renting a room is clean, that you sleep well and good coffee in the morning and unfortunately nothing has been checked...
Read moreThe website is full of promise but it was a huge disappointment. Firstly, I arrived by train and found that the short distance to the hotel was along a busy main road eith no pavement or footpath. I was booked into a double but was given a single. They did give me adouble when I complained. The furnishings were cheap and outdated. The lighting is very bad with no light over the mirror for make up or shaving.. there was little storage space. Then there was what they laughably called breakfast. Firstly it did not start until 8pm and I had to leave at 8.20. There was a yoghurt and some dry cake. The assistant had to put money in the vending machine to get a coffee and then heated some milk in a kettle. Iasked for some cheese and ham, which they supplied but no butter. The bread was stale and inedible.. for my last 2 days there I got cereal andmilk from the supermarket and made my own breakfast. Also to get to a restaurant you have to walk along the main road with no pavement, cross the railway line and walk quite a long...
