Hotel Villa Domizia — Hotel in Monte Argentario

My husband and I spent 4 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. ||We stayed in a studio suite with a balcony. This room was located just outside the main building in a very quiet and peaceful location. I highly recommend the room as it was spacious with a giant terrace overlooking the sea and floor to ceiling windows with a magnificent view! The bathroom had 2 shower heads and very spacious! Upon arrival, there was a nice bottle of wine as well as complimentary water, drinks and snacks in the room. The only downside of the room is that there are mosquitoes and insects, so there was a sign to keep the windows closed in order to not bring them in your room. I am a magnet for mosquitoes and really wish I could keep them open as there was such a nice breeze.||Breakfast (starting at 7:30A) is also included and was a very good assortment of various breads, pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, fruits and even a few hot items. We also ate dinner once and found the food to be excellent quality. The restaurant has a gorgeous covered patio with amazing views of the sea. ||Within the hotel, there’s a nice pool and a private beach area with plenty of loungers and changing areas. There’s a bar area both outside and inside and plenty of areas to relax if you don’t want to leave the hotel. I also like that there were a lot of places to park, including a charging station for electric cars. ||Staff at the front desk and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. They spoke very good to excellent English. ||There’s a few restaurants within short driving distance from the hotel, but majority of activities are in Porto San Stefano less than 10 minutes drive away, I think the location is quite good in being close by but still allowing for peace and quiet as Porto San Stefano can be pretty chaotic and busy, especially during the weekend. ||We really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel and stay...

This was one of the best hotels I have personally ever been to.

Me and my husband came here from a long italy trip with the motorbike and we were mesmerised by the beauty of this hotel.

We really loved the pool and the beds outside, as soon as we checked in we took a little swim and it really felt like heaven since the view is so nice.

🛌 the room: we had a standard double bed room and it was clean and spacey. The bed was very comfortable and on both sides there is charging ports and in front of the bed there is a massive Samsung tv (that couldn't connect to the Internet so we didn't really use it). The bathroom was clean, had a hair dryer that we could use and had a spacious shower. They provide with towels, slippers and a very comfortable bathrobe 😍

👥 the staff: was polite, very useful in case you needed information. In the restaurant one person specifically was a bit rude, but the rest of the staff was really nice to us.

📍location : it has a really nice view and we came here as a stop off and since we have a motorbike it's easy for us to move around so I am not too sure about buses or any other services.

We also used the restaurant and it was delicious, we ordered the tasting menu and the fish was very delicate and particular.

The breakfast in the morning was very full and we had a lot of choice between sweet and sour. ( I personally loved the pancakes with the fruit)

We were fortunate to have met one of the staff, Katja, at a previous holiday, who recommended this hotel. Thank you Katja.||She put us in contact with Jessica who was very professional and helpful in all of our communication during the booking phase, and recognised us when we arrived and continued to be helpful and friendly. She made us feel valued and welcome from day 1.||We stayed in a non sea-facing room, which still had a balcony and a view of the sea. The room was very clean, serviced and cleaned daily and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was good - but could have been better. The showers were amazing, though a little small. But none of this detracted from the beauty of the hotel.||The pool. beach staff were super friendly and as the week went on we got to know them and even with our limited Italian and their limited English we formed a special and memorable bond. All the staff were professional but special thanks goes to Carlo, Gabrielle, Francesco and Paolo for the personal service, chats and laughter we had.||The shuttle service from the hotel is brilliant and Fabio provided great recommendations for us - we did not hire a car, and took a taxi into Porto San Stefano and Orbetello but used the shuttle to come back to the hotel - which worked perfectly.||We...
