Dammuso Sant'Anna — Hotel in Pantelleria

I spent three wonderful weeks at Dammuso Sant’Anna, and I can wholeheartedly say it was an absolutely magical experience. This charming home is located in a stunning spot, with breathtaking views and unforgettable sunsets that I enjoyed every single evening.

The dammuso is fully equipped with everything one might need, but what made it truly special was the chance to stay in a traditional island home, full of authentic character and charm. It offered not just comfort, but also a real sense of place and connection to the island’s culture.

One of my favorite features was the inner garden with a hammock – an ideal spot to relax and read during the sunniest days. Another brilliant element was the covered terrace in front of the dammuso, providing both shade and tranquility – perfect for reading, dining, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

The light inside the dammuso was just beautiful, and the windows facing the sea made every moment feel like a postcard. Waking up and watching the sun play on the waves was pure joy.

But the true gem of this stay was Margherita, the host. She was exceptionally kind, helpful, and always available. She went above and beyond – not only did she pick me up from the port (since I chose not to rent a car), but she also did some grocery shopping for me before I arrived, purely out of kindness (of course I reimbursed her). Throughout my stay, she was incredibly responsive, practical, and warm – always there when I needed anything.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dammuso Sant’Anna to anyone seeking peace, beauty, and authenticity. And I equally recommend Pantelleria itself – this island has completely stolen my heart. I will definitely return – to the island, and to Dammuso Sant’Anna.

Ho alloggiato con mio marito in questa struttura per una settimana e devo dire che è stata una settimana di puro relax. Il dammuso è stato sapientemente ristrutturato mantenendone tutti i tratti tipici ma attribuendogli un carattere confortevole e funzionale. Il cortile interno, la zona barbecue, la doccia esterna, l'enorme vetrata che apre la zona giorno sulla vegetazione sapientemente posizionata e mantenuta regalando all'ospite una sensazione di "vacanza" impagabile, sono solo alcune delle chicche di questa struttura. A tutto ciò si aggiunge l'estrema disponibilità di Margherita, la proprietaria, sempre pronta a risolvere ogni eventuale richiesta e sempre con il sorriso!!! Per me questo Dammuso è stato la mia personale bolla di serenità, il completamento di una vacanza fatta di albe mozzafiato, tramonti romantici, mare cristallino e il tipico ma mai scontato entroterra lussureggiante delle nostre belle isole...

Il dammuso è accogliente e molto ben curato, ha tutto il necessario, ed anche di più, per una splendida vacanza all'insegna del relax. La posizione è perfetta, lontano dal caos ma vicino a tutto. La chicca del Dammuso Sant'Anna è l'oste Margherita, disponibile oltre ogni misura e gentile, basti pensare che ci ha accompagnato all'aeroporto ad un orario insulso della mattina perché non partiva più la macchina, questo dopo averci guidato al meglio con i suoi consigli su Pantelleria.
