Before choosing this hotel I've read all the reviews it has here and I wasn't so sure is a good option for our holiday, and I've went reading other reviews from 4 stars Hotels from Palau (another city in the North) and it was worst. So, I've turned back to Hotel Elisa and decided that it deserves a chance and it was the best decision we've made for our holiday.||It's a family hotel (now they are on the 4th generation) and you can feel the warm of their hospitality. Ms. Elisa helped us to book a car as it was in august a very busy period, and she made all the calls for us. ||We had a packet with breakfast and dinner. Although the dinner was excellent and very diverse every evening, the breakfast is the Italian traditional one with delicious croissants and coffee ( very good coffee and latte), maybe not suitable for everyone if you eat more in the morning, but they can cook for you. So each evening they cooked for us, we could choose from their menu pastas with different sauces and for the second plate meat or fish. The food I repeat was well cooked and they also several times just offered me what they've prepared for them, which was always a good choose and that impressed us.||The room was cleaned every day, clean towels and stuff. We didn't had any noise issues for all the 7 nights we've spent there. ||They've also made reservations for us for dinner once at a nice local restaurant just for diversity so we can eat and feel excellent on our stay there. The price for the internet wasn't expensive at all, only 3 euro for 24 hours during 7 days stays, at the departure we had left 5 hours. ||In conclusion, we are happy that we've choose this hotel. We had such a good time, and we interacted a lot with them, they've told us about the island's history and other interesting things that you won't find out form a book. We kindly recommend this Hotel for those who don't search a cold luxury in a 4 stars hotel, but the warm...
Read moreI just finished staying at this hotel in order to catch the morning ferry. I gave this hotel one star as the hotel was pretty clean. I took stars away for the missing glasses in the room. They were the only hotel who charged us for the internet. There was pounding and sawing going on in the hotel next to our room, when we were trying to take a nap. The continental breakfast was absolutely pathetic. I asked the lady to make me two eggs and some bacon and one egg for my wife, for which I paid $15.00 for. There is no parking, you just have to find a spot on the street. They have a 10:00 am check out! The three four star reviews were probably made by there own employees or family. Cost for the room, Internet, 3 eggs and a couple strips of bacon equal 91...
Read moreI needed a place to stay for one night in order to catch the (very) early morning ferry to Barcelona, and this hotel fit the bill. It's extremely well located -- literally across the street from where most of the ferries dock, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was nervous about getting to my ferry on time in the wee hours of the morning—it left from an industrial port about a kilometer away—but they not only reserved a taxi for me but assuaged my worries and concerns with genuine kindness. My room was clean and very comfortable, with AC, a telephone, and a TV (with cable). I did not try the restaurant downstairs, so I can't speak to that. My only caveat is that while there is wifi, it is...
