Hotel Akelei — Hotel in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

My wife and I stayed at hotel Akelei from January 4th until January 11th 2018. This well situated, easy to find family hotel fulfilled all our expectations and beyond that! From the first contact through email and phone conversations to the check-out, everything was going smoothly. We were thrilled by hospitality of family Bierbauer - we got all the information we need at reception, great breakfast, excellent dinner, shuttle transport to the ski-lift (included in accomodation price) and very personal service. Hotel is small, but rooms are spacious, equipped with everything and have large balcony with nice view. To our surprise, hotel even has an elevator, which is not common for accomodations of this size. ||Hotel is quiet and I would recommend it for couples as well as for families or group of friends who look for pleasant and relaxed atmosphere without noise. Buffet breakfast was plentiful, and dinner consisting of five courses (salad from buffet, two side dishes, main course at choice from two different meals and dessert) was excellent - congrats to Mrs. Bierbauer. Most meals are made from tasty home products and family Bierbauer has very good house wines. A 5 star hotel. Its great location, right in the heart of Brunneck, will make you feel very local. There is not need for a wake up call or alarm clock setup, the bells of the church will do their job! The service is fantastic, very nice people that'll make you feel at home. Graziosa struttura in stile alpino, a gestione familiare, con camere profumate, luminose, ampie, confortevoli, dotate di balcone arredato di tavolo e sedie e corredate di ogni comodità (chiave elettronica, cassaforte, stendibiancheria, supporto per valigie, ciabattine, cuffie per doccia...). La pulizia delle camere viene effettuata quotidianamente e a metà settimana viene cambiata la biancheria letto. Il soggiorno all'Akelei è stato molto gradevole. La famiglia proprietaria della struttura è cortese e simpatica, la cucina è ottima, il buffet di verdure ben fornito. La frutta è sempre presente sia a cena (sia fresca che a macedonia) che a colazione. Il buffet che conclude la cena è una vera delizia a cui nessuno si sottrae... Consiste in tre o quattro tipi di dolci rigorosamente cucinati dalla proprietaria, ottima cuoca a cui ogni sera i commensali mandano complimenti.
