My family spent five nights there in the beginning of July. The hotel is in a great location pretty much in the middle of the Ahrntal valley so it made for a perfect base for whatever activity in the area. (The Tourist information office is two doors down.) The Hotel is two levels up and one down. The rooms being up. No elevators. Check in was quick and easy. Free in room Wi Fi is available and worked like a charm.|| The room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. The mattresses new and perfect. We had a riverside room on the second floor and the sound of the river helped put us to sleep after a full day of hiking. || Breakfast was simple yet quite effective. It looked unimpressive at first but once you found things, it was very good and tasty. Try the fresh yogurts and local pastries, we found them delicious and filling.|| Check out was easy as well. To avoid the morning rush we paid the afternoon before. All in all it was a comfortable and relaxing stay. Great value...
Read moreI stayed at Hotel Stifter for 5 evenings. The rate was extremely reasonable for a very clean and well-positioned b&b to explore the hiking routes around. It is a beautiful town with a very good visitor center just right next to Hotel Stifter. The staff were all very attentive and professional. I travelled alone and felt very safe and well-taken care of. I was even offer to use the owner's electric bike for free.
