My Bad Waldbrunn Dolomites Lodge — Hotel in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

We loved our stay in this hotel. It is perfectly located to enjoy most of the most popular hikes in the area and also other hikes if you want to avoid the crowd.

The manager of the hotel is doing an amazing job to make you feel welcome. Starting from the very valuable advice on where and when it is best to hike (depending on the time of the year there are some restrictions and rules to access certain areas). He gave us good recommendations for the restaurants and food delivery services. And even provided a discount. The hotel has a bar in the lobby, but we were allowed to enjoy our own drinks and food there.

The pool area is clean and has everything to relax after hikes. Two saunas and swimming pool.

The gym is very well equipped. It has a totally new rogue rack and rogue barbells. Dumbbells and kettlebells. Concept 2 Tower, bike erg and echo bike.

I haven't experienced such a good level of services for a long time.

Stunning new hotel in wonderful, quiet location.

Immediately upon entering you’re greeted by the super friendly and helpful host Andreas. Everything is prepared for your arrival, your Sűdtirol Guest card, map of the region and all the other info you need.

The breakfast is great, selection of different food for anyone’s taste, an excellent coffee machine to make your speciality coffee and normal as well as non dairy milk.

Don’t miss on the sauna and swimming pool, or the gym if you still have the energy after a day out. The hotel also offers electric mountain bikes but we didn’t use them (the hotel is on a steep hill).

Parking is underground and secure. You can play small billiard or try a puzzle in the lounge or enjoy the scenery if the weather is nice outside (including fire places).

Only thing that could be improved is the toilet paper (softer one) and the lights in the room. A jacuzzi is in...

FABILIA FAMILY MONGUELFO è stata una delusione come albergo family, forse tra qualche anno e dopo numerose lamentale dei clienti abituati a trascorrere in strutture veramente family, basta vedere i servizi proposti per invogliare a scegliere questa struttura e si capisce la loro impreparazione e la pubblicità ingannevole, ah dimenticavo l’unica cosa vera scritta nell’email di conferma è il pagamento all’arrivo, ottimo, dopo è iniziata con la prima cena, cibo modesto per quantità e presentazione, già dalla prima sera abbiamo assistito la disperazione di chi era già da qualche giorno, barman inesistente, ogni commensale si preparava la propria caraffa di birra (tutta schiuma) e vino, norme Covid? Mah, camera assegnata la 101 sbagliata in base alle nostre esigenze, presenza di formiche nella stanza e nel bagno, quindi controllo zero, chiesto il cambio alla direttrice, ha accettato le nostre richieste, lei è stata cortese e disponibile, anche la nuova camera era mal pulita, accappatoi usurati e bucati con la scritta della vecchia struttura idem per le lenzuola, non da 4 stelle come l’albergo dovrebbe essere. Animazione, ragazzi volenterosi ma senza mezzi per fare le gite con i bambini fuori, ma dovevano chiedere l’assistenza e la disponibilità delle auto a noi genitori, scandaloso, i servizi scritto nell’email, vedi bagno turco, sauna spenti, piscina non si sa quando veniva pulita o preparata, servizi hot dog 🌭, pizza, hamburger sempre pronti e caldi serviti in veranda inesistenti, colazione a risparmio, ho fatto presente cosa non andava per un 4 stelle ma la risposta era “stiamo migliorando” ma i clienti pagano per un servizio da 4 stelle ben collaudato e non vedere i tentativi. Per pulire le stanze si utilizzava scopa e paletta, letti non rifatti fatto presente anche questo alla ragazza delle pulizie impreparata e non professionale per lo standard da 4 stelle, ho spiegato che serviva una aspirapolvere per pulire per bene le camere e non lasciare residui, letti idem. Ho consigliato anche di avere la penna al tavolo per ordinare per il giorno dopo, altrimenti ogni famiglia doveva andare alla reception a chiedere la penna, incredibile, la sera dopo arrivate ad ogni tavolo. Una cosa è sicura, non darò nessuna possibilità al gruppo Fabilia di vedere la mia famiglia presso di loro, non è possibile che non ci sia un manager supervisore al controllo qualità dei servizi ma lasciare il personale della struttura a fare i salti mortali per dare un servizio sufficiente per un tre stelle scarso. Una vergogna. Come si può vedere nelle foto l’unico albergo della vallata ad non avere fuori i fiori esternamente nei balconi....
