The member of staff on reception when we arrived was welcoming and recommended the Cinque e Mezze restaurant to us, we had two good meals there. At least ten restaurants and five gelaterias within 15/20 mins walk.||Beach is 5mins walk and reception will give you towels and one umbrella per room. Beach sellers are frequent but do go away if you tell them you aren't interested. Lifeguards on the beach do their jobs, saved a rockpooler who cut his feet quite seriously. The water is OK for open water swimming although a bit murky so you need goggles if you are going to swim properly. Ranged from 2-4ft waves or completely flat depending on weather.||20 mins drive to Ravenna, about an hour from Rimini and about 75 mins from San Marino which is worth a visit.||Good breakfast, although the small rolls were a little bit crusty and the alternative was white bread. Otherwise croissants filled with e.g crema or mermerlada, Parma type ham, salami, mortadella, hardboiled eggs, sandwich cheese, biscuits, cakes, coffee machine, cereals, milk, yoghurt. The only thing missing was fresh fruit. Well stocked and plenty of it. Also a 630 breakfast wasn't a problem although advertised as 730.||Clean and tidy, a couple of small problems (no instructions for TV and defrosted ice in the fridge) reception staff were helpful and solved these. No kitchenware in the advertised kitchenette, when we talked to the reception staff about it they said that they didn't supply enough to cook a meal but if we wanted items like plates or a cup of coffee we could use the breakfast are at any time. We didn't go there to cook so we this wasn't a...
Read moreDue to that this hotel borrows the same name of another near Rome I booked here thinking it was the hotel near Rome, iin Sabaudia on Tyrrenian sea.||I phone first cancelling one reservation for health reason for shifting reservation few days later. The manager was very unkind and told me "let us see, call again". Non standard. I alled again and the answer was "no, you calncelled one day after deadline and you have to pay". Ok. I paid. ||When eventually arrived the day of the further reservation I realized (my fault? yes, but the names of the hotels are identical and when aI called days before nobody was able to tell me where the residence hotel exactly was!). From the other destination I called with the owner of the rwal hotel I wanted to reserve and the answer was "no, you have to pay in spite of the clear unwanted error caused by same hotel name".|| They refused any refund to me and I payed 3 nights for nothing. I think this is unacceptable and I advise possible guests to...
Read moreWe stayed on the ground floor with a patio. Large and cool room with kitchen and large bathroom. Cleaning is done every day and towels are changed daily.
The beach with umbrellas and sun loungers is 10 minutes away, there is a bar with drinks and snacks. There is also a dog beach and a dog park. We used the beach opposite the hotel, a 2-minute walk straight from the entrance. Without sun loungers and umbrellas, but we enjoyed it. The water was 28C when we were there.
We had 4 dogs with us. When we arrived, they informed us that we are not allowed to leave the dogs alone in the room. Shocking. We have never experienced this before. After a call to the manager, we were allowed to leave them in the room as planned. It was too hot to take the dogs out during the day, so it would not have worked to not be able to leave the dogs in the room...
