B&B Il Giardino D'Ulisse — Hotel in Reggio Calabria

I booked this trip without research - Ryanair flights were cheap ! It turned out to be a great choice . It’s the end of June and tourists are very low in number . Easy to get around Reggio Calabria on foot . I spent one day here , a second day - went across on the ferry to Messina (7 euros return ) and a third day on the train ( 7 euros return too ) to Scilla . It’s a great place to travel out from as RC is too small to spend many days and that’s what’s great . Scilla - had a great swordfish sandwich in civico 5. Cinzia at Il giardino was great - had my morning coffee on the terrace while she painted , and a conversation between us in Italiano-English . Great location and she gave me a number for taxi to book in advance for airport before I arrived- great tip - thanks to Massimo . I would recommend this as a short stay...

What a B&B! Beautiful decorated in (old) English style, very stylish! Shower is good and the beds are lovely and separable (on demand). For the warmer days there's airconditioning. The owner is really friendly and helpful with everything. Breakfast is a mix of Italian and European style, bread, ham, cheese, yoghurt and a sweet bun. Juice, coffee and tea are free of use, just as the very good WiFi! Unfortunately no smart tv for the rainy days. You can park the car along the road, there's enough space left, especially during the day. This is quite a busy road, but in the accommodation you will not hear anything! Dogs are allowed and cost you €15,- a day, the dog is allowed to come in breakfast room, on the terrace and outside! Will definitely come...

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in Reggio Calabria! The location is perfect – just a short walk from the beach and close to charming cafés, restaurants, and the city center. The room was clean, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. What really stood out was the hospitality of the hosts: always friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area.
