Lunariccione Hotel — Hotel in Riccione

Prompt and very friendly check in. I was lucky my room was available in the morning after 10am and they were so nice to let me use it straight away. ||The room was standard for one person but had a double bed in it so presume this one is mainly used for solo travellers. There was plenty of room for me. Bathroom and shower were a bit tiny but nice set up and unless you are an obese person you should navigate there easily. ||Everything was clean and nicely decorated. No tea or coffee facilities though, only mini bar. Bathrobe and slippers were also provided. Sheets were nice and soft. ||No English channels on tv as far as I could see but no issue if there is so much to do outside. ||Short walk to the beach. I decided to go Spiaggia Del Sole (#86-87) that seems a bit nicer than the recommended by the hotel Bagno Guilia 85 next to it. Although both looked perfectly fine and don't think you can really go wrong over there. ||Bars, restaurants and other shops are just around the corner. And plenty of busy streets for strolling especially in the evening. ||As the hotel is just off the main street it is in a quiet and very convenient location. ||Breakfast served overlooking the pools was sufficient and it was a standard continental affair with a few small hot options. ||Pool were lovely to use and relax. Hardly any kids and only small ones since the hotel have special hours for them to swim. So you can be sure it will be a relaxing atmosphere at other times. ||Wifi worked fine anywhere in the hotel. ||Getting to the hotel from the airport by public transport can be a challenge as there is no easy way for pedestrians to cross a busy road in front of the airport so as many others I found my own way. Then finding a bus stop in town was not difficult but it was along a road with no pavement for most of the time. So if you have large bags definitely...

Un disastro..... Chiedo un preventivo di soggiorno per 4 notti, direttamente sul sito dell'hotel, e contemporaneamente simulo una prenotazione su booking, ma avendo qualche dubbio, contatto telefonicamente l'hotel Luna. Faccio presente all'hostess della reception che il loro preventivo è superiore a quello di booking, pur trattandosi della stessa stanza (questo era il dubbio). Pertanto comunico alla stessa persona, che effettuerò tale prenotazione, sulla piattaforma di booking. A questo punto, con fare molto apprensivo, mi viene detto di non farlo, in quanto se avessi spedito loro una mail con screen dell'offerta booking, mi avrebbero fatto lo stesso prezzo. Cosa che a questo punto faccio, scrivendo nel corpo della mail il periodo di notti concordate, il prezzo pattuito, tutti i mei dati e l'ulteriore richiesta del loro garage per ricoverare l'auto, il tutto concordato telefonicamente, con loro accettazione del tutto. Da questo momento in poi, non mi preoccupo più, anche perchè chiedo se dovessi fare altro, e mi viene detto che andava bene cosi. Nessun tipo di ulteriore richiesta o informazione da parte loro.||Passa qualche giorno, e mi viene in mente di richiamarli telefonicamente per chiedere se avevano qualche convenzione con gli stabilimenti balneari. E qui inizia il disastro!!!! ||Al telefono mi viene detto che non esiste nessuna mia prenotazione!!!???!!! Mi fanno presente che mi è stata inviata un ulteriore mail di proposta di preventivo (mail peraltro a me mai arrivata...!!!!) con quanto già concordato telefonicamente (ma la conferma telefonica con tutte le loro indicazioni, seguite da me pedissequamente, non valeva già????!!???).||Pertanto, non avendo risposto nei tempi da loro dettati, la camera era già stata prenotata ad altra persona...!!!! Anche volendo farlo, non avrei potuto rispondere nei tempi previsti, perche mai arrivata!!!!||Una telefonata, no? Mi è stato detto al telefono che loro ricevono 100 prenotazioni al giorno (beati voi), e non hanno il tempo di rispondere a tutti, men che meno chiamare.||Ma per venirmi incontro, mi hanno proposto l'unica loro camera libera: una suite, al quasi doppio del prezzo, con uno sconto ben del 10%....||Ho chiesto a questo punto di parlare col Direttore, che ovviamente non era presente. Mi è stato detto che sarei stato richiamato entro sera. Credete sia avvenuto? Ovviamente no. Peccato perchè avevo già soggiornato presso di loro e mi ero trovato benissimo, e vorrei farlo ancora, se fosse possibile, ma un piccolo risarcimento a questo punto, me lo merito proprio.||Forse questa recensione riuscirà a farmi sapere qualcosa?||Lo spero, perchè la mia vacanza è stata così rovinata, avendo dovuto in fretta e furia trovare un'alternativa, ben al di sotto degli standard dell'hotel Luna, da me considerato uno dei migliori di Riccione.||Qui l'attenzione alle esigenze del cliente, ed un problem solving attento, avrebbero evitato tutto ciò, ma si sa, al mondo nessuno è perfetto, e l'errore è sempre dietro l'angolo.||Basta...
