Last minute deal, resort known but not where we were staying. Despite landing in a thunderstorm and Monarch airlines narrowly missing San Marino mountain close by, we survived the bumpy landing to be taken here, a short stroll from the centre of Rimini and out of the hustle and bustle I suspect occurs in mid Summer!||||The manageress could not have been more welcoming and friendly, she directed us to our rooms, seeing we were still shaky from the descent into Rimini airport, to leave us to flake out on the bed for an hour before she telephoned the room to say that not only had we left our passports in reception but all the holiday dosh, cards & tickets home!||||Spent a lovely week there, rooms are basic but very clean, with good array of cooking bits if you feel the need, but lots of restuarants close by to avoid that chore!||||The roof terrace is lovely if you catch a sunny day and being self catered, there was no problem taking our own beer up. No bar, but next door situated on the corner there is the most wonderful family run business (usually where the reps hold their welcome meetings) serving drinks, munchies and delicious homemade icecream! ||||Eventually we did see the tiny republic of San Marino, on an organised trip for the day and was lovely (much better than the near miss in the plane!!) Was very sad to leave this hotel and have vowed to go back...
Read moreAlthough we stayed here at the very end of the season the weather was still beautiful, and this apartment block was very close to the beach and bus stops on several days we walked into Rimini and from here it takes about 25 minutes strolling along.||The apartment itself has a mixture of long term residents, and holiday lets. I particularly liked the full size fridge with a freezer compartment - it was good for keeping all your drinks cold . Also the lady on the front desk arranged for a taxi to collect us and agreed a price with him before we booked to take us to the train station as we left early on our last day.||Couple of points to mention if you want to use the gas stove they don't provide anything to light it with, also apartment was a little short on...

It's really close to the center of all what's going on in the neighborhood.||||The rooms are a bit old but are still very clean and comfortable. Bathroom is pretty big. Cable TV with a lot of foreign-language channels. The kitchen is small but it gets the job done: our soup turned out pretty great. You can save a lot by cooking breakfasts for yourself and buying basic food at a local grocery store if you really want to.||||The beach is nice and service was very responsive as well, answering to...
