Hotel La Campagnola Di Carbone Raffaela — Hotel in Rotondi

My experience as an American who knows just enough Italian to be polite and not starve:

The hotel is a 50 minute drive from the Napoli train station and it is well worth the drive.

The hotel is family owned with the family living upstairs of the guest rooms, and the family is adorable. The family does not speak English so much but it’s more than enough to get by! I highly suggest if you do book a room that you know the basics of Italian. It’s not necessary but it will make your stay a bit easier.

The rooms: Clean, comfortable, the bathrooms are nice and there is a walk in shower, and there is a balcony with breathtaking views of the mountains. There is a small TV which is very nice. Basic necessities are also provided such as small packets of shampoo!

The location: 40 minutes away from several national parks and Pompeii! The drive is well worth it! Also within a few miles is plenty of gas stations and supermarkets!

The restaurant: Authentic Italian food starting at 800pm, and I would eat literally anything Raffaela makes the first night she brought us a dish that included homemade pasta and mushrooms that melted in your mouth. She is the classic Italian grandmother! On weekends they also make amazing pizza!

Conclusion: For a peaceful getaway from the city center, to hosting a wedding or party, I can’t recommend this wonderful family ran hotel enough! If I could give the hotel 10 stars I would! Book this hotel! You won’t be...

Abbiamo trascorso un paio di notti in questo Hotel scelto principalmente per la vicinanza dei miei impegni.||L'accoglienza e la cortesia sono il punto di forza della struttura.
