Garni Kostner - Apartments — Hotel in Salten-Schlern - Salto-Sciliar

It is our second time to stay in Garni Kostner and it is as good as the first and even better. Its location is ideal: with serene surroundings yet very convenience location, just a few minutes' drive to Ortisei where you have good restaurant choice, shopping opportunities and cable cars to reach the Dolomites for hiking. We visited Lago Braies and Santa Maddalenna during our stay and they are easy drive from Bulla.||||The view from our room over the old church and Ortisei is picture perfect. We took loads of pictures of it. Our room is very new and modern, with a kitchenette which we can cook some light dinners which is a bonus. We have two rooms and we also like that there is a second door so that we have a private lobbby for the two rooms.||||Breakfast is good and hearty. The Kostner family gave us warm welcome. All in all it was a great stay and we are already thinking of a third visit to the Dolomites, and of course a third stay at...

Taking 17 persons (in different ages) from Holland to Italy and stay in House Kostner. We had a great time. Nice rooms and beds, good showers, clean, lots of space and a very cosy small kitchen wellfurnished and friendly owners; Erwin, Ilke and their children Ismael and Timea!!!||For us it was very special to have 2 big cosy rooms (each for at least 20 persons) near the kitchen, to eat ,enjoying apres-ski or playing games.||||Nice little village near Ortisei with a good connection with skibus (50 mtrs from the house) to all the highlights. We found this B&B by chance - and were very lucky. The setting is amazing. You can hike straight out of the door, or choose to drive 5 or 10 minutes and have the whole valley to start from.Or you can just sit and enjoy the amazing views. The location out of town ensures that the nights are beautifully peaceful, with star-covered skies. While the lower areas in Italy had heat-waves, we had cool nights and beautifully sunny days, without experiencing too much heat. It couldn't have been better. The rooms are spotless clean. The Kostner Family take hospitality to another level, and made us feel very welcome and at home. Erwin is a mountain guide and give us very good tips for hiking and day trips.
