Hotel Cesare Augusto — Hotel in San Michele al Tagliamento

We stayed only four days at the Hotel Cesare Augusto, but next year we are going back for a longer period. It was an excellent holiday!||The hotel is perfect for children. We have 3 young ones (6,4 and 2 year old) and they loved it! We also loved it as everybody works hard to make your staying as comfortable as possible. The kids (from 3 up) can enjoy the mini club, so the parents can enjoy some rest, plus the pools and the slide are perfect for kids.||The hotel is 3 stars, but you have access to all the facilities of the 4 stars Hotel Lido, which is great value for money. On top of the normal things you would expect (beach umbrella and deckchair, free wifi, entertainment...) there are a lot of little things (mini club, covered parking, hot shower at the pool, daily beach towels, playroom, quiet zone for adults...) that really add value and more than justify every penny you spend.||The food is good (for a 3 stars) and it varies enough. This year is my 5th year to stay in this hotel. ||Hotel staffs are very efficient and friendly. They make you feel like you are their personal friend.(simpatici in italian:-))||Food is delicious, especially their main dish and dessert is fantastic. I stayed there for 2 weeks every time i go there, and always gained 1~2 kg becuase of their delicious cuisine..;-( ||Room is pretty clean and tidy with really lovely seaview. They are newly renovated, but decor is still very italian touch..||the only thing is, to excess the swimming pool, you have to cross the small street. But it was no problem for me, it took only 10 seconds anyway.. oh, swiming pool is really amazing! all the people outside stop to look inside, cuz they have lots of jacuzzi n really big waterslide.||i went to this hotel with my friends, cause we love beach party. but it seems like family trip would be the best for this hotel, cause there are lots of family stuffs to do here.||I really love this hotel, so i even decided to stay at their hotel on the moutain last winter for skiing! If you plan on staying in Bibione then this gem of a 3-star hotel is definitely worth looking into. It shares pool with its 4-star sister hotel. And that pool is quite likely the best Bibione has to offer, especially for families. Close to the beach. Great food. Also close to the main shopping/cafe street. Families with small children will appreciate the proximity to all things mentioned. Parents will appreciate the pool/beach. I swam laps in the 25 meter section of the pool (early morning best time). Service and friendliness are really good! Animation team really friendly and do their stuff well. Nice atmosphere generally. Ample space for cars in garage, even with roofbox attached.

Disadvantages? Like all hotels people reserve chairs at the pool and don’t arrive until afternoon. Some rooms are fairly small (but one is hardly in the room anyway). Our family room was of generous size, but at a cost...
