HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE – Completely Misleading, Neglected, and a Total Waste of MoneyOur stay at Camping La Focetta Sicula was an absolute nightmare from beginning to end. We specifically chose this property because it was advertised as "on the beach," and before booking, we even contacted them to double-check this information. We were explicitly assured that the property was, in fact, on the beach. However, when we arrived, we discovered this was a complete lie. The property is NOT on the beach at all—it’s a depressing two-minute walk away. This is blatant false advertising and a scam.When we raised our concerns with the receptionist, we were met with rude and dismissive behavior. They offered us another room that was still not on the beach, and then they refused to move us at all because my wife had washed her hands in the sink. This is not just poor customer service; it’s an insult to paying guests who have been misled from the start.It only got worse. The next morning, our supposed "sea view" was completely obstructed by old, run-down camping vans parked directly in front of the sea. After a heated argument with the incompetent receptionist, they reluctantly moved the vans, but by then, our holiday was already overshadowed by the stress of dealing with this nonsense. I came here to relax, not to argue with staff over basic amenities that were falsely advertised and should have been guaranteed.To make matters even more frustrating, there was no access to the beach from 10 PM to 7 AM due to a locked gate, so we couldn’t even watch the sunrise from the beach—one of the main reasons we booked this place. We specifically asked for early access to see the sunrise at 6:30 AM, but were rudely told that the gate would not open until 7 AM. This is absolutely ridiculous given that the sun rises at 6:30 AM. Why advertise a beachfront experience when guests are barred from accessing the beach when it matters most?The property itself is a total disaster. It’s outdated, filthy, and looks like it hasn’t been maintained in years. The playgrounds are rusty and abandoned—unsafe for any child. The bar area looks like it has been deserted for ages, which only adds to the eerie feeling that this place has been left to rot. To top it off, there are COVID-19 social distancing signs everywhere, making the place feel even more depressing and uninviting. Despite these signs, there’s no visible effort to clean or maintain the place properly.Camping La Focetta Sicula is a complete disgrace. I've never whitnessed such an unprofessional and unfriendly,aggressive owner of a trailerpark my entire life.

The owner just randomly closes the doors whenever she wants and you will get closed in. Or even worse: OUT!!!!!

One day she closed the doors at 8:00 pm I was standing there with my two poor little children for about an hour! My baby startet to cry. And then when the owner finally arrived she yelled at me: "Hurry! come on in or leave and stay outside!"

Just imaging getting closed out with two little children like me alone and nobody around who opens the doors in the night (an absolute nightmare!!!!) You can't even jump over the fence somewhere. So deffintly not a place for familys!

Also don't expect kindness understanding or anything from the owner. She talks bad English and gets aggressive and disrespectfull and yells at customers.

At one point she just tresspased and walked into my bungaloo(WITHOUT PERMISSION!!!) And startet yelling at me, because a friend of mine wrote a bad recession about the place (which is absolute understandable after the situation where she escalated and yelled at him for no reason.)

Conclusion: the beach would be lovely and also the area would be nice for it's price.

If you would just replace the owner.

the owner and her pointless inconsistant rules and the trespassing into my bungalo when i was naked is an absolute no go!

If you wanna have a fun time and you wanna travel around and see destinations without getting closed out at the evening or beeing yelled at.

Don't go there.!
