La Siesta - Hotel Ristorante — Hotel in Torino di Sangro

This hotel exceeded my expectations based on the very reasonable price. The room was large and spotlessly clean. My room had a sea view from the balcony. Finding the place by car was easy and parking no problem at all. It’s a very short walk to the sea on a footpath opposite the hotel. It’s quiet. The breakfast was a perfectly acceptable Italian breakfast with good coffee.

I ate at the restaurant one night, it was a Tuesday night and yet the terrace was popular with other diners which I think is a testament to how good the food is. The fish dish I had was delicious, as was dessert.

It makes a great base for exploring the area and is an easy drive from the motorway. Would recommend eating...

I slept in this hotel in October 2012 for one night when I was travelling to South of Italy. It was nice and clean hotel, with a small children playground outside and fairly large parking area. It looks like it is in a developing area as there isn't much around, really. Specially when you arrive at 10pm and it's dark! In the morning, I went to the beaches, which are just beyond a small hillside. It is about 0.5km. This is a very modern hotel with spacious rooms and a large private balcony with table and chairs. The restaurant was truly outstanding on both quality and value. For €15 I had the Dinner "Pensione" with a large choice of 3 courses and whole bottle of wine included with no cover charge. I had exquisite mushroom risotto with porcini mushrooms and truffle oil followed a large whole baked fresh fish with oven roasted potatoes and tomatoes.
