We rented a bungalow for 2 weeks which was tidy and provided just enough room to stay in. Luckily we didn't have to spend much time in it because it was very warm. The fridge had a freezing compartment with no door, meaning that after 4 days it was full of ice, preventing the fridge from closing properly. Instead of providing a fridge with a proper freezer there was a sign that we should not use pointed objects to remove the ice from the freezer. The beds were too small for me (I'm 1.85m) but we slept alright because the rooms can be completely darkened. There were some vicious mosquitoes but nothing serious. The Wi-Fi was the worst I've ever seen. Not only do you only get 20 hours per week for free, the Wi-Fi was so slow that it took an hour to download a newspaper on an iPad. I admit I'm an above-average internet user, but this was unworkable and frustrating.||||The reception staff was very friendly and were always willing to help. When the door of our fridge didn't open and close properly (different problem) they fixed it the next day. They provided us with maps of Lucca and Livorno and even arranged a dentist appointment in the village.||||The pool was good and Massimo is a great pool attendant, very good with kids. On hot days it gets really crowded but that was to be expected. The entrance system seemed to break down at least once a day. The bus to the beach was old but comfortable. ||||The menu of the restaurant was mostly pizza and seafood. The pizzas were very good and the waitress very friendly. The local shop on the campsite has fresh bread in the morning and a good assortment of foods. Nice cheeses as well. The bar serves cocktails but has no list of them. The Creme de Caffé was delicious and 3 euros for 0,66L of Moretti was very decent.||||The animation team seemed semi-professional but it was all Italian. My daughter (5) loved the 'baby dance', 30 minutes of dancing to Italian tunes with 2 energetic girls (Dahlia & Sarah). Too bad that the guy presenting loves to hear himself talk. He talked right through all the songs which was very annoying (especially if you don't understand what he's saying). Strange that a baby dance starts at 21:30. From 22:00 the animation starts for children/adults (which is the reason that at the baby dance you can't get a seat because all seats are reserved for the rest of the evening). Animation can be heard across the entire campsite, but it stops at 0:00. After that you can get a good night's sleep.||||All in all we found that this camping was mostly tailored towards Italian campers. Did we have a great holiday? Definitely! We have fond memories of this holiday but I'm pretty sure we will not return to this camping (also because the sea-side of Tuscany is nowhere near as beautiful as...

We spent a very nice week in an on site Mobile Home on this camp ground. It was early in the season so it was still very quiet at night.||||The Mobile Home was used but clean and enjoyable. We enjoyed the good climate under the trees. The home was equipped by air condition, but we did not need it.||Free WiFi was available and it worked reliably, but not super fast. You have to enter the pass code every time you open your device.||To get to the beach, it takes a hike of 2km. (we were told, that there will be a shuttle bus in summer, but it was not yet operated). So you should have good walking shoes (no flip flops) and minimize your equipment to carry. And you should know, that wide areas at the beach are private beach zones, but a public beach is available.||||Due to some rain showers we faced quite some mosquito attacks due to the proximity of the jungle area in front of the beach. After using some incense sticks against mosquitoes we could reduce the annoyance. And the camp ground staff took some countermeasures too, which further reduced this issue.||||The staff was very nice and helpful. They are speaking German and English fluently. ||We enjoyed very much the good Cappuccino in the bar in the morning.||The restaurant was good and the staff can speak English fluently.||||We travel with our road bikes and could use them for trips to Viareggio, Pietrasanta and Lucca. The first two tours can be done on a bike lane along the coast, whereas the tour to Lucca is on public roads. They can be quite busy with traffic, which is not so nice.||||At night, the camp ground closes massive gates, so it seems to be a quite safe place.||Overall we had an enjoyable week and can recommend this safe campground for families and bikers, which are not too allergic against a...

l'unica cosa che mi è piaciuta è il lodge questa casetta prefabbricata con veranda e tutti i confort possibili.....dalla camera matrimoniale che seppur piccola davvero funzionale con letto a doghe molto comodo....il bagno con doccia molto grande bidet e phone.....cucina ben attrezzata con frigo grande microonde e 4 fuochi peccato mancanza di lavastoviglie e lavatrice....altra cameretta ed un piccolo soggiorno....posto auto anche vicino la casetta e molto pulita.....un punto a favore Melania e Christopher dello staff x cortesia collaborazione e disponibiltà dalla poca pulizia dei bagni in comune allo staff alla cucina alla struttura in toto alla non collaborazione prima di prenotare ho chiesto alla struttura se c'erano problemi per un commensale vegetariano e mi hanno rassicurato dicendomi che la sala era organizzata sia x colazione che x cena di un buffet self service già qui problemi xchè ormai usiamo così tanti termini in inglese senza tener conto che non tutti ne sanno sia il significato che la traduzione reale buffet=varietà self service=ti servi da solo detto in parole povere e chiare ma non è stato così e non c'era nulla di quanto dichiarato un banco 2 primi pesce carme 2 secondi carne pesce della pizza qualche verdura tiepida piselli pomodori carote mais cetriolo piselli freddi e ciotoline mignon contenenti creme o dolci della misura di un cucchiaino questo per cena e sempre uguale tutte le sere mentre mattino torte confezionate tagliate a fette più sottili di un foglio da stampa brioche surgelate yogurt magro in una boccia latte in un bricco pomodori uova strapazzate wurstel bacon frutta sciroppata 2 macchine per bevande calde o fredde ed il tutto servito da un operatore che si potevi prendere più volte ma la varietà?? zero sempre quello tutti i giorni e attenzione nulla per il commensale vegetariano potevi chiedere in cucina ma sembrava che la richiesta doveva passare al vaglio della Nasa per poi darti solo 1 piatto di pennette al pomodoro non sugo con soffritto pomodoro del barattolo buttato sopra omelette mozzarella in busta 3 pezzettini di forse caciotta grandi come un pollice ma sottili e questo x 15 gg di soggiorno il cibo davvero immangiabile di scarso livello e queste varianti sempre x il veg venivano sviluppate con sufficienza con scocciatura e servite in malo modo poi addirittura in fase di chiusura hanno cominciato a togliere le poche cose che c'erano dai burrini confezionati della colazione sostituiti da un panetto da cucina e l'ultima sera senza cena x chiusura villaggio zero trenino x la spiaggia a 2.50 km insomma cucine o strutture da incubo son poco a confronto davvero quindi ricapitolando zero self service zero buffet zero alternative per vegetariani zero collaborazione zero disponibilità zero cortesia hp contattato assistenza Booking che purtroppo non è riuscita a far nulla nemmeno un rimborso sulla mezza pensione in considerazione che cmq non valeva i soldi versati e perchè poi alla fine cucinavamo noi spendendone altri il lodge invece era pulitissimo e ben organizzato dalla camera con letto doghe comodo alla doccia grande quindi consiglierei il Villaggio solo per le varie casette attrezzate seppur mancanti di lavastoviglie e lavatrice e di servizio navetta per la spiaggia che dista 2.50 km sul loro sito e su quelli tipo Booking sarebbe comunque meglio essere onesti ed informare chi prenota di tutte queste mancanze così da poter gestire meglio la vacanza senza ormai trovarsi bloccati in un Villaggio che non offre più nulla perchè in chiusura e soprattutto non dire ciò che non c'è dal buffet self service inesistente e collaborazione per un commensale vegetariano ed avere la possibilità di un rimborso togliendo la cena inesistente migliorare la qualità del cibo offerto che era immangiabile aggiungere collaborazione disponibilità cortesia togliendo sufficienza e maleducazione forse aumenterebbe anche i punteggi quindi senza ulteriori polemiche perchè ci sarebbe altro da aggiungere da farne un libro si tornerei solo per il lodge....il resto portatevelo da casa o consumate fuori...
