Hotel Les Rochers is a perfect spot. With our family we have been there twice in summer now.||Barbara and Simon welcome you in a cosy and well outfitted hotel||The rooms are nice with excellent beds.||The breakfast is good, a rich buffet with a personal touch by Barbara for eggs. ||The dinner is a party every evening ! ||Barbara runs a show with a crew to serve you a formidable meal.||A veggie buffet as an opener. Then mostly a rich soup.||Followed by a choice of pastas. Then a choice of meat/fish dishes. ||Finally a choice of desserts, often combinations with fruit, homemade cake, and ice cream.||The personnel is trained to be extremely servicable and friendly.||The hotel becomes even more interesting knowing that it has an extensive spa, with relaxing rooms, sauna, swimming pool and hot tub. On the roof there is a grassy area with a lovely gazebo with views into the valley.||Even more special is that Simon there has his observatory. He loves to show you the nightly sky with the famous storm on Jupiter and the rings and moons of Saturn. ||The hotel caters for pool play, table tennis and volleyball.||If you are lucky, Simon will show you his miniature sailing boats and radio steered aircraft.||||The hotel is situated close to many of the walking routes crossing the Breuil Cervina valley, close to Valtournench where you can do your groceries, have a great lunch or italian icecream. Read moreMy family and friends have been visiting this hotel for 16 years since we discovered it in 2006. We have visited on many occasions mostly for skiing and three times in the summer. Simon & Barbara always make you feel welcome in this family run hotel.||||The rooms are very comfortable with great showers and baths, some have working fireplaces. The breakfast buffet is really good with Barbara cooking fried or boiled eggs on demand. Then the daily ritual of choosing the evening meal which is entertaining. The evening meals are large with many courses and traditional local cuisine, I would highly recommend the food. The wine list is extensive with many local reds and the bar is great fun, with Simon regaling us of past and current adventures.||||Simon also provides the minibus shuttle to and from the ski slopes, just a phone call away at the end of the days skiing.||||I would highly recommend this wonderful, homely, friendly hotel for a skiing or a summer holiday.||||I envisage returning with family and friends for many years to come||||Salute...
