This BnB is the worst lodging I experienced since traveling for 3 weeks from the US to Spain n Italy. First, this place is nowhere near the coast where the five villages are located. The website map may show it as just above Verranza, but it’s 6 Miles to drive. The road is closed 2.5 Miles before reaching this place so the walk up is strainous. Your car is now at a dead end in pitch black darkness on roads not wide enough for two cars, not to mention the sharp curbs getting up the Mtn.. This road is connected to Verranza. The other road leading to this BnB is connected to La Spezia. It is not how short the miles are from this BnB to the Cinque Terre villages, it’s the 40 minutes slow ride due to the zig zag mountain roads n it’s narrow highway. Then you have to return the same distance n condition. Stay instead at Due Gemelli in Riomaggiore. For the same price as PZeta, 110 Euros for two people per night, you get a great breakfast spread included in the price, a room with balcony facing the sea, modern amenities, a restaurant/bar with spectacular views n another restaurant nearby named IL Borgo Di Campi that serves excellent food that is also a hotel just as Due Gemelli. If this is your first visit to Cinque Terre n you can afford to pay 100 euro per person, stay at Monterosso al Mare instead. It is the only village of five with a great beach to swim in n hotels right on the promenade. A train runs through all five villages n beyond for 14 Euros all day travel per person. But definitely stay away from this BnB Affittacamere PZeta. You’ll thank...
Read moreWe stayed here for three nights and had such a great time! The room was super nice and well-equipped, with a fridge and an amazing balcony view over the mountains and the sea. The sunsets from the room were just stunning, and we also loved having breakfast at the restaurant next door, enjoying the same gorgeous view in the mornings.
The breakfast was delicious – we especially loved the Focaccia Club breakfast, the English breakfast, and the cannoli. Everything was fresh and very tasty.
The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. They gave us great tips on how to get to the next village by car and about local hiking trails. They were also super dog-friendly, which made our stay with our dog so easy and comfortable.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay, explored the five Cinque Terre towns, and would’ve loved to stay longer. There’s nothing we can complain about!
We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to explore the beautiful Cinque Terre region from a peaceful, welcoming base...
Read moreThe positives of the property are:|1) it is very quiet as it is so remote |2) nicely decorated and clean bedrooms |3) fantastic shower|Negatives: |1) if you want to start early / finish late then this is not the place for you. The first public ATC bus from the property to Vernazza is at 850am and the last bus leaves Vernazza at 7pm. That means that you either have to have dinner before then or get a takeaway to have in your room. You can organise with the hotel and pay EUR 35 to go to Monterosso via taxi. |2) we had room 1 and we could hear everything that our neighbors in room 2 were saying or doing - not convenient when they were opening and closing doors while we were trying to sleep|3) once the host checked us in, we had no way to contact or get in touch (no phones in the room) - it was about 830pm and we desperately wanted to know how we could turn the heating on as we were freezing but we didn't have any means of contacting her or hotel...
