Hotel Julius Payer — Hotel in Vinschgau - Val Venosta

We have been here a few times before and we knew what to expect. The new experience was even better than before! We received a warm welcome and welcomedrink. Our room was very spacey and clean with a direct view at the Ortler massve raising up to 3900mtrs nearly from the front door. The breakfast was really fresh with a extensive choice. It is in line with the perfect evening 5 course dinner. When we liked to alter some of the courses it was never a problem. The owners and the personnel were very kind and helpfull in any aspect.||The hotel has also the local magazinestore and coffeeshop in house. There is enough space to park the car at the hotelgrounds.||The hotel is very well located with respect to lifts and hikingroutes.||There are a lot of options to attend a guided tour to the several summits in this region. This area is really impressive and with the hospitality and quality of this hotel you will enjoy every minute of the time spend here. We will return to this beautiful and challenging place (Solda am Ortler) in combination with this hospitally and comfortable Julius Payer...

Probably the best hotel I've ever been to, I've gone there for the past 10 years so it feels like a second home. Great staff, even the chief and his wife are incredibly helpful and friendly (our car battery had drained and the chief personally helped us +1!) food is great and if you don't like something you'll get something else. Rooms are very clean, large pool. Great and gorgeous area. Haven't got anything to complain about. I'd recommend it to anyone but especially couples and families with older children (12+) not many children's entertainment. But still...

I was offered a room in an old part of the hotel, even though the hotel was almost empty, room was big but dirty, dusty, looked very old and bathroom as well. I asked for the room in new part of the hotel, the owner didn’t seem too happy about it. The room in the new part was perfect. Jakuzzi had a bad smell, swimming pool not too clean around. Food ok, 3 out of 5 (compare to other hotels nearby) Staff, two lovely ladies. Owners with the distance really. I won’t be coming back....
