This is a review of the terme and pool not the hotel.
My family and I came for a day pass and overall we enjoyed it, but… there was some initial confusion and misunderstanding. Luckily the nice lady at the desk spoke perfect English and walked us through the process - and it is a process?!
A family of four, we all thought we’d do the package deal for spa, and outdoor pool. Well my wife decided to just do the pool, and my 17 year old son wasn’t allowed in the spa, as he’s a minor. My older son and I had to first see a doctor. Yes, a doctor?!
After paying two €2 deposits and showing our passport/identification, we were issued 2 hotel key cards and off to see the doctor. He also spoke perfect English et English and took our blood pressure and explained the hot temperatures that we would encounter and then he signed off that we were healthy enough to use the spa -yeah?!
You then return to the desk with your deli ticket in hand and pay for your treatments.we did the €40 for steam sauna, circulation bath and pool. You then go towards the pool and change in the locker rooms and come back for the spa. Locker rooms have lockers that you access with key card or pool wristbands, things seem very safe and secure.
You walk through the lobby several times, so I recommend flip flops and a robe. We had flip flops but no robes and we looked and felt very out of place - but not enough to rent them for €20?!
You do the steam room a few times, shower and cool off, with free water provided, then the circulation walks through warm jets and then very cold ones for twenty minutes. It was good - relaxing and yet invigorating at the same time. Then we went out to meet our family at the pool. (You do NOT need to wear a swim cap, but many people do.)
It was a beautiful day in early January and we thoroughly enjoyed it. They have plenty of options available for other spa services and cafes, lunch etc. Next time will be better as we’ll understand the process a bit better.
The pictures of the spa are accurate - it’s a nice place - the water was clean hot...

Read moreAbsolutely terrible spa, complete waste of money! When arriving they asked us if we had robes, to our suprise we said no, then they told us we had to have them. This cost 20 euros to hire, then they asked for another 60 euros for a deposit I then asked why isn’t this included. Bear in mind the massage was €200. I have never been to a spar where you had to rent robes.
They were then talking to each other thinking we couldn’t understand them as they were speaking Italian, little did they know we understood every word they were saying.
Absolutely rude and disgusting, mocking us saying we were untrust worthy. This was in the first 5 mins.
It got worst.
When going in for massage not one word of English but that’s ok, however when I hawked for the massage to be a little stronger or deeper, her reply was no as you have booked a relaxing massage.
My reply was very simple. I can barely feel you massaging me, also she had gloves on and all I could feel at times is the gloves burning from friction.
She poored the oil on and pretty much left it on me, I was covered in oils from head to toe and didn’t even wipe it off.
She just got up and left when it was time. To leave me wiping the excess oil off.
What a terrible place and the rudest people I have ever...
