This mountain resort is very serene. Lots of walking paths through the forest and down to the duck pond. There are only a few restaurants within the resort. The best one was Namaste owned and operated by Mr Singh. A delightful fully fluent in English gentleman. He gave us many tips on things to see and do and where to eat in the nearby town of Lake Sua and Chino. His food was first rate! We asked for his recommendations from his menu. His specialty dish eggplant and pork was fantastic. His Naan bread is the best I've ever had. Light and fluffy, right off the grill. The food was so good and the experience was so delightful we came back for a second dinner. We had spinach, curry and lamb. Mr Singh even made us a walnut and raisin Naan to take away for breakfast. Impressive facilities, and the panoramic view from the honkan building is magnificent. ||||The rooms, restaurants and staff uniforms are all well done, but unfortunately feel like they haven't been redesigned for a couple of decades and so feel a bit dated. The hotel also feels commercialized and lacks the warmth and friendly service of The Colloseum where we stayed the night before.
