Terrace Tateshina Resort & Spa — Hotel in Chino

Stayed in November in very cold weather, 3 people in one of the cottages.||We drove up to the main entrance and checked in successfully, then back down to our cottage where we were able to park right outside. The cottage was very nice, 2 levels with the bedroom (3 beds) and large bathroom downstairs, and living/lounging area and large balcony upstairs. Good TV/movie options and teas and coffees available.||||Unfortunately, due to it being winter it was VERY COLD in the cottage. We were unable to regulate the temperature, and even called for someone to help us turn on the floor heating (didn't really feel the effects though). There were individual gas heaters in various rooms, but we couldn't leave these on the whole time. The bedroom being right off the entrance was freezing, as was the bathroom. For such a comfortable looking place, this was a big shame!||||The living area was really nice but unfortunately the very low seating didn't suit me as there was nowhere to sit more 'upright'. Maybe personal taste though.||||We didn't use the balcony but in warmer weather, can imagine it would have been fantastic!||||One final downside was that to get to the onsen, we had to walk all the way up to the main building, outside and in the dark with a torch (provided in the cottage), and through the lobby. We had to rug up just to get to the bath. Onsen itself was very nice, especially rotenburo (outside) with the trees nearby lit up. But then..... having relaxed, we had to put our coats on and trek back in the cold to our cottage! ||||We had the buffet-style dinner and breakfast and the scheduling was not managed very well. Having been asked what time we preferred for dinner, we said 7.30pm and duly arrived just beforehand ready to be seated. We found a group of people all waiting, and we were supposed to put our names on the list and wait to be called. After at least 20 mins waiting, we were finally seated and got the last bits of the buffet - so the spread was not that impressive. I did see that they replenished many of the dishes but by that time we were nearly full. Same thing happened at breakfast except there was no assigned time..... everyone turned up and had to wait around until we could be seated (around 20 mins wait). The food wasn't bad (mix of Japanese and Western) but we didn't feel it was well organised or worth the money!||||Overall, this is a nice place but could do with some improvements. If you visit in winter, be prepared to wrap up or choose a room in the main building rather...

24/5/19に宿泊しました。 今回の旅行のメインの宿でした。 広い敷地には本館とコテージタイプの部屋があり、本館2Fのフラットタイプの部屋でした。 設備に多少の古さはあるものの、そんな事を忘れるほどの広々とした部屋に、天井から床まである大きな窓からは庭の森林が見渡せ、マットレスのような広いソファは硬めで沈み込まないので快適そのもの。備え付けのコーヒーメーカーでコーヒーを淹れ、窓からの森林浴を楽しみました。夫はソファがかなり気に入って少しの間寝ていました。 浴室には広めの浴槽と洗面台が2つあり、洗面台の取り合い無し。もちろんトイレ別です。 ベッドは一般的なシングルサイズが2つ。セミダブル2つがこの部屋には似合うかもしれません。 そう思うほど空間を持て余す広い部屋です。 大浴場に繋がる道も雰囲気がありますが、到着間近に階段があるので保養所のなごりなのでしょうか…ここで一旦雰囲気が壊れます。 ただ、内風呂(熱め)から見える森林は癒やされますし、夜の露天風呂から見える森林も一部ライトアップされキレイでした。雨がポツポツ降っていたのですが、冷たい雨が気持ちよくてかなり長い時間入っていました。出たくなかった。 夕方まだ明るい時間の露天風呂は連なる山々が見え綺麗でした。 夕食は他のレビューで多々見られるように、ホテルの雰囲気に見合わない感じとも言えなくもないですが、部屋数が何百もある温泉旅館のような品数豊富で海鮮も肉も和洋中取り揃えるバイキングを想像して来られる方には物足りないかもしれません。 確かに品数はもう少し増えると嬉しいです。 エビのクリームパスタ、ビーフシチュー、ローストビーフ、お寿司(この日はマグロとイカ)、信州そば、スモークサーモン、チーズ＆ハムなど私達夫婦には魅力的なものばかりでしたし美味しかったです。 朝食は至って普通でした。ただ、夜には見えなかった食事会場からの景色は最高でした。 私達が案内された席からはあまり見えなかったので森林浴を楽しみながらの食事はできませんでしたが、昨晩の雨に濡れた木々が神秘的でした。 立地は山の中で他の建物とは少し離れているため、コンビニなどはありません。必要な物は事前に用意をおすすめします。アメニティは必要最低限なので、クレンジング必須です。歯ブラシは極細タイプなので、苦手な方はマイ歯ブラシを。 色々書きましたがトータル☆5。 このホテルに泊まるために旅行する。そう思えるほど部屋と露...

我が家的な予算からは奮発しましたが、楽天トラベルでちょっとお得なプランを見つけて初滞在。 【施設】センスの良い建物や室内がお洒落だなぁって感心しました。部屋は高い勾配天井で窓が大きく、早朝には山から昇る朝日が気持ち良しです。洗面にも大きな窓があり、清潔。お風呂は、内風呂も露天も横長でかなり広く、特に露天風呂からの眺めが良くていつまでも入ってられます。(施設全体的に古くなったというような口コミを見かけましたがちゃんと手入れされており十分レベル高くで満足でした。) 【食事】一泊目夕食がコース、朝食は和定食、二泊目は金曜で夕食朝食がブッフェでした。特にコースが味も量も満足度高かったです。個人的には毎食の野菜(特に大根と人参とトマトの新鮮さや甘みがわかりやすい。あと、すり下ろしたドレッシングが葉物に合う)と朝食時の牛乳(自然な甘みしっかり)に好印象◎です。朝食ブッフェでサンドイッチやおにぎりをその場で作ってもらえるのもサービス度が高いですね。(あえて言うなら夕食ブッフェのメニューはもっと良くなるといいなぁと思いました。) 【サービス】部屋には作務衣的なのとパジャマがあり、作務衣で館内外·レストランにも行けるのが便利でリラックスできました。着いたときから帰るまで、丁寧で気持ちの良い応対のスタッフさんがたくさんいらっしゃったのがなによりです。特にチェックイン時に部屋まで案内いただいた方からは、旅行を楽しめるよう気遣うお声掛けをいただいたり、そういう細やかなところにしっかりしたホスピタリティを感じました。
