Super Hotel Echizen Takefu — Hotel in Echizen

Wow. Hotel is brand, brand new. The front desk man was so incredibly helpful. He spoke great English and equipped us with a map and handwritten personal dinner recommendations and all their phone numbers in the area with out us asking! The onsen is HOT and the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were the best I’ve used anywhere in Japan (they smelled like lavender!). The hair dryer was also the best I’ve used in Japan anywhere... The room has a projector for a tv. They have a huge pillow and “amenity” selection downstairs, all free. I can’t wait to try breakfast tomorrow, since everything else is so good. They are really working to earn pleased guests. I love it. Best...

The hotel is great value for money.

Reception was easy as front staff are helpfull.

They provide free welcome drinks on reception floor which includes both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.

Rooms are small but with comfy bed.

Free breakfast is invluded for all guests, and tasted very good. Both Japanese food and basic western options were there.

There is a parking lot on site which cost extra.

The hotel just opened this year so everything was new. It was in a convenient location with lots of parking. Parking was ¥500/night. Breakfast buffet was included as well as a welcome drink after 5 pm. The room was small but it had a large screen TV with Netflix...
