The owners are very friendly, the location is perfect if you enjoy nature and some peace and quiet and the lake is just beautiful. There are multiple options, camp sites, bungalows and outdoor cooking areas. I just love coming here. Well folks, I've just finished work today and will be heading back to our favourite spot in Japan with the friendliest hosts I've ever met. Nestled In the mountains by the shores of Lake Saiko, this camp ground offers cabins and tent areas for a reasonable price, they offer bamboo fishing poles, canoes and camp accessories for rent. We arrived and were made to feel at home. The staff appears to be a family run business, though they don't speak much English they were very friendly and accommodating. I stayed for 4 days here and had a great time! The staff was incredibly friendly and always asked how I was doing even gave me a ride to the bus station! Also lots of cool stuff to see and do around the area as well. Rather that be going to one of the many natural caves in the area, exploring a ancient Japanese village or even going to a beautiful hot springs with a stunning view of MT Fuji.
