The owners are very friendly, the location is perfect if you enjoy nature and some peace and quiet and the lake is just beautiful. There are multiple options, camp sites, bungalows and outdoor cooking areas. I just love coming here. Well folks, I've just finished work today and will be heading back to our favourite spot in Japan with the friendliest hosts I've ever met. This time we will camp for four nights and I can't wait to get there. Thank you very much for yet another great stay. Although I've said it before I'll say it again, it's the most stunning location, and the warmth and hospitality of the hosts is the best. Our favourite spot and favourite people in Japan!! This time we enjoyed a...

Nestled In the mountains by the shores of Lake Saiko, this camp ground offers cabins and tent areas for a reasonable price, they offer bamboo fishing poles, canoes and camp accessories for rent. We arrived and were made to feel at home. The staff appears to be a family run business, though they don't speak much English they were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back when we have the oppertunity. This place almost makes you feel like you traveled back in time to a simpler life, surrounded by beauty and a sense of...

I stayed for 4 days here and had a great time! The staff was incredibly friendly and always asked how I was doing even gave me a ride to the bus station! Also lots of cool stuff to see and do around the area as well. Rather that be going to one of the many natural caves in the area, exploring a ancient Japanese village or even going to a beautiful hot springs with a stunning view of MT Fuji. I would definitely give this place a looksee should you decide to camp...

If you want a true camping experience, this is great. We got a cabin, which was a tatami mat and table. There was one outlet which was nice. Only downfall is some cabins don't have screens. The hosts are very very nice. The lake access is great. They have some snacks, but 711 is about 10 minutes away. They also offer bedding, canoe rentals and some basic items such as fire starter, bamboo fishing poles and wood.

Great spot to camp in bungalows. Hosts were so hospitable even though there wasn't much English spoken. Can rent and buy camping supplies here if needed.
