Great experience from both the hotel and the restaurant. We reserved the cabin last minute and we’re pleasantly surprised. For a low price, we had a fantastic place to stay with our dog. There were two small floors, a great view of the lake, and a dog run in the back.

In the morning, we stopped at the cafe and had some great sweet breakfast items. My wife had the pancake which I was extremely jealous of (see photo) and I had the toast with whipped cream which was actually really great and had a bit more depth than expected. I also tried the coffee float which I would say is mandatory if you come to breakfast here.

Stay at this hotel if you are...

Did not stay but used the restaurant only for dinner and breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming staff( family run business). The views of the lake are amazing with terrace seats. Open till late and starts early as well. The food was very fresh and well made. It's take a bit of time but when it comes out , it's great. They do takeouts as well. We like so much we came for both dinner and breakfast. They have free wifi too so can do a bit work as well While we didn't use it, they provide cheap bicycle rentals ( 500 yen for an 1 hour , 1000...

The hotel is located next to the lake which give a good view. It is also cheaper than most hotels nearby. However, the villa is pretty old. The bed was a futon style and was really uncomfortable and dirty. There are several spider webs. I sniffed all the time at night and couldn't sleep well. The heater turned off automatically if is turned on for more...

July 2025 Stopped here by chance. Thought grab a beer! Great decision! Must try the Smelt fish fry which is a hearty dish of fried freshly caught Smelt fish, an assortyof veg tempura served with 2-3 types of salad. We got a leafy salad, cabbage and a pasta salad. Their vanilla ice cream was really delish too! And what a great view from the restaurant!! Happy days!

Very nice location far enough from all the tourists areas to enjoy silence and no traffic but close enough to get to them all with a short drive. Hospitality was a big added bonus. Definitely will stay here again. Tip: Kerosene heaters aren’t a usual thing in the states so crack your windows when using them😉
