Secluded high end hotel by the Fukuoka pier away from the city which most guests arrived by driving their own rental car. Both service and hotel premise are outstanding. They got well trained service oriented staff helped guests with sending their luggages to their room, and showed guests their room and made guests feel like a vip. They also got complimentary free flow of alcohols and snacks serving from 3-5pm and 8-11pm (with ramen serving at 10pm) at the lobby cafe which we appreciated and also enjoyed a lot. We attended these complimentary drink and snack outings mostly by ourselves alone without other guests.. However, there is some room to improve in terms of cleanliness in housekeeping as I found a piece of hair in the bed and some food on floor along with a receipt left by the previous guest which is not acceptable for this sort of high end hotel. I also requested for a room away from the noise and given that they only got 10-15 parties checked in last night with 5 floors, staff has assigned us to a room next to another party and we could hear the couple arguing at night when we opened the balcony door. Having said that we still found this hotel lovely as we appreciate the warmness of all the welcoming staff from the check in, the bonfire event from 8-10pm and all the lobby cafe staff throughout the whole stay. The room, the beds and amenities are all excellent.. I will recommend this hotel to friends in off peak seasons esp in a good...
Read moreservice is excellent at this hotel. this is the third hotel we stayed during our fukuoka trip, the first was miyako hotel (都ホテル博多), the second was oriental hotel (オリエンタルホテル福岡). this hotel marinoa resort has by far the best service of all three hotels! 👍🏼 from the check-in to the hotel preparing my sons surprise birthday to the smores and strawberries to check out, everything was top notch. gotta give respect to this guy, his service is just too good, he is the mvp. if i can give six stars for service, i would.
room is based on an older room but they try very hard to update it and it works. the view is great, hair dryer is latest panasonic top model, room included a very comfortable massage chair for relaxing after shopping at the outlet all day. bed is a bit harder but wasn’t uncomfortable at all.
location is right by the outlet so there’s a lot of shopping and a handful of restaurants close by. however one disadvantage would be the lack of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. slight disadvantage so i would buy whatever i need from convenience store before heading to this resort.
overall, i would definitely stay here again for my next trip to fukuoka. thank you for the...
Read moreThe hotel was located at the seashore. All rooms were facing a leisure boat shelter. The view was very relaxing, especially in the morning when the guests enjoyed sunrise. Free carpark was just outside the entrance and was abundant. It was ideal for driving travellers. The staff explained the facilities well during check-in and also led the way to the room, helping to carry the luggage. The breakfast set was chosen at that time and then served at room. The quantity was pretty much and the temperature was maintained well. The bottle of coffee was not as good as the free drip coffee provided in the room. There were two kinds of bathing salt to be added to the bathing tub which was next to the balcony. Since the room size was rather spacious, the feeling was fine. The free dessert offered at the bar was also a merit. There was a convenient store nearby, but the number of restaurants within walking distance was just a few. Overall experience was satisfactory. Of course, the price was a bit higher...
