シャーレ＆コテージ ピノキオ — Hotel in Izu

I'm sorry I can't recommend this place, the website makes the place look pretty, but I was disappointed when I arrived.

We had booked a cottage, seeing two bunk beds on the website photo, however there were no beds and just many futons. The futons smelled old and there was an insect and a strand of hair. I guess they aren't washed after every guest. There is also a window that has no curtains, so if anyone looked inside, they can see our room. As it was cold, we used the heater at night which made the air very dry. I wished they provided a humidifier in rooms.

Also, there was no toilet in the cottage, it was troublesome when we needed to go in the middle of the night.

We bought water from the vending machine, which was 120 yen per bottle, but if we buy from receptionist, it was 132 yen because of tax...

Lastly they have breakfast at 1200 yen per person. With unlimited coffee and orange juicr. There was a tiny bowl of salad and small pieces of buns. The breakfast was unsatisfying for...

I stayed with a friend last month. After checking out the website I booked as I love the outdoors. Although it's only summer season, it seems that this pension is popular for kids who want to find bugs and Beatles. The place is a little hard to get to with it being located in the mountains but once you get there its peaceful and easy to relax with an at home feeling. Theres a cafe area down the bottom which is nice to relax at with coffee and drinks available to buy. I stayed in the main building honkan, which was clean and has a beautiful view overlooking the mountains, also nice and sunny in the morning. The BBQ was delicious and was off high quality. 7月初旬、1泊2日の虫取りプランで利用しました。4歳なりたて♂と大人3人♂♀♀。 控えめに言って「最高」でした。

客室:バンケット別館を利用、施設は年季が入っていましたが綺麗に清掃されており、スペースも広く快適でした。

サービス:昆虫愛を感じるスタッフさんの案内で、七夕の満天の星空を見ながら、最高の虫取り体験。事前に特製の蜜を木に塗ってくれており、コースを周るとカブクワがうじゃうじゃ、3組いましたが、取り合う必要はありませんでした。 離れの小屋にある涼しいおもちゃ部屋は虫取りの休憩や夕食・お風呂までの時間潰しに最適。 夕飯はBBQプランでボリューム満点(炭焼きコンロが小さく、フル稼働で対応したので、もう少し大きいか、2個あるとゆったり夕食が取れました。)お酒の品揃え最高。赤ワイン頂きました。 貸し切りの露天風呂は絶景の山々を見ながらゆったり入れて、虫取りの疲れが吹っ飛ぶ最高さ。 露天風呂は朝も利用できて、清々しい朝を迎えられます。 朝ごはんは地産の食材いっぱいの一味違う伊豆ご飯。オレンジジュースはおかわりを我慢するのが大変でした。

場所:事前に虫取りスポットを教えてくれたので、ワイナリーまでの約500mの間を虫探索。 結果、2日でカブト＆クワガタ合わせて40匹ほどゲット出来ました！ ハイライトはカブトムシ♂1匹目を見つけた(今回は♂2匹♀大量でした)時の近所に響き渡ったであろう妻の叫び声と、ウロで見つけたオオクワガタ♂を持参したペンチで格闘の末ゲットした事です🎶

悪い口コミが数件あったので一抹の不安はありつつも、カブト虫が取れれば良いや！の精神で行った結果、最高の体験を息子にさせてあげる事が出来ました。

Youtubeばっかりだった息子の遊びが、宿泊の夜から昆虫フィギアでのバトルに変わって、毎日10回以上戦いを挑まれ、親の持つ虫は必ずやっつけられています。 持って帰ったカブト＆クワガタのお世話(餌変えや湿度管理)も自発的に「やる！」と言って、夜はジーッと観察しています。産卵＆来年の羽化を目指して育成頑張ります。

来年は保育園の友達も誘って行く計画を立てるのが今から楽しみです。
