I picked the Winery Hills hotel because of its access both to the stunning seascapes of the Izu Peninsula and to Mt. Fuji. Mt. Fuji is a shy mountain that is hiding in the clouds more than not and this hotel had a view of Mt. Fuji. This was a photography trip and photos of Mt. Fuji was at the top of the list. The Izu's rugged coast could keep me busy until the mountain came out of its cloudy domain. ||||The hotel staff was awesome although there was only one english speaker that I found, Yasunari Henmi is a great asset Winery Hills Hotel.
