There’s nothing that can make up for the way I was treated as I attempted to check in early. I had to do some work while the rest of my group hiked. I stayed in the main lobby area most of the morning and had a nice lunch in the restaurant.
Around 2 pm I attempted to check in as the lobby is uncomfortably warm. I was told I could not check in until 3. I then sat and watched as the staff allowed other guests to check in. I rarely experience deliberate rudeness/racism like this. I have encountered racism here in Japan on my occasions but today was the worst experience and I live in the deep South in the US. Today they were outright misleading and deliberately set me in the wrong direction.
I will not allow my programmers to book this location ever again. I would not recommend this...

All of the staff are extremly helpful, but there is only few that can speak english. Buffet breakfast and dinner are excellent and versatile, good value.
