We found the place to be clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had no issues
The rooms are small, but far from the smallest we've had on this trip. We were still able to fit in 4 grown men. I personally found the room to be comfortable.
The traditional style meals were great. Dinner was a 3 course meal and we got so much more than expected. I could barely finish it. Breakfast was wonderful too. It was different but I appreciated the experience.
The Hot spring was enjoyable. We had a late night soak at 10pm.

Potential for this hotel is huge. It is close to Kamikochi but not within the Kamikochi park, therefore it is easy to access it by car. It is an onsen hotel. But the hotel is not well maintained. A renovation could make it a splendid hotel.||Rooms are simple, not more than that, but sleeping quality is good: Cotton linen, and comfortable pillows.||Dinner and breakfast are of Japanese style and are nice.||Hot spring at the ground floor are nice, but could be nicer if the plastic partition...
