One of the best views of the river. The hotel like many here is a little dated but the rooms and view are great. Very spacious. I have a little kid and he loves to run and play with his toys so having a bigger room (like a suite) to do so is awesome. The entrance is actually on 6th floor and has a store to buy snacks and beer, sake and souvenirs (heavy emphasis on food souvenirs). If you want sandwiches, bread, desserts etc, like a convenience store would have, this isn’t it BUT Lawson is a 4min walk from the hotel. Note: You must pay cash for anything you buy at this store. :( This hotel on the 1st floor has a sauna and a nice hot spring, indoor and outdoor with a view of the river. Honestly, I'm not sure why this hotel isn't getting higher ratings. We were a little hesitant to book based on the reviews, but our experience exceeded expectations. Past reviews have complained about poor service, but we didn't experience any of that here. I'd like to commend April for being especially kind and helpful throughout our stay, and she spoke perfect English too.
