The staff doesn't speak English. The food is really for Japan guests, and the building itself everything but nice looking. And now the good part. The rooms are looks like authentic Japanese style, with bamboo walls and tatami, no bed just sleep on the "floor". We liked very much. And the onsen was great. The value of making a special journey to this place is questionable, but if you are in the area, I recommend making time to hang out, have a coffee or ice cream, while admiring how perfectly the city has respectfully worked to preserve beauty of nature through which the city is carved.
