Comfort Hotel Obihiro — Hotel in Obihiro

Got there on March 3 around 6:30pm-8pm.

The service was good. I don't know if I was lucky, but the staff (reception) that received me was really kind and helpful. I just felt grateful.

I asked a question about some place I wanted to visit, which was unrelated to the hotel. I was okay if they didn't know. However, they looked for some information and told me about it. They even went one step more to help me by their own initiative and called my room to let me know about it. Thank you so much. (Maybe it was because I could communicate through my basic Japanese).

I also asked for restaurant places to go, and in their entry instructions, there were some recommendations (coupons)

The breakfast was delicious and good. Starts at 6 am.

The location is good. Close to the bus station and JR Obihiro station. So if you are coming in winter and walking from there to the hotel, I would recommend it as the weather at night was freezing cold for some. Also, It is close to many restaurants around 4 to 10 minutes of walk.

The rooms were good (non-moking room). Although the temperature is the same for the whole hotel, I just turned it off because it was too hot for me. The fridge can be turned on. The bathroom has basic amenities (shampoo, conditioners, soap).

初めての利用。 某サイトで予約しました。

他で予約したのですが それより安いのがあったので そちらをキャンセルして 取り直しました。

チェックインする時は フロントに男性と女性の方が居て名前を告げると、 男性の方に 記入お願いしますと言われ 住所や名前など書きました。

その後「本日1名様ですね？」 と言うんです。 隣に子供が居るのにですよ… 「いやいや2人ですけど」と告げると少々お待ちくださいと 女性の方と何やら話して戻ってくると「それではこちらの金額になります」と予約した時の金額を支払いました。 何の説明もなく 釈然としませんでしたが 行こうとすると女性の方に呼び止められました。

内容としてはキャンセルした最初に予約したのは大人1名子供1名になってるが 今回の予約は大人1名だけになっているので追加料金2000円払って下さいとの事。

一方的に言われても こちらもキャンセルの時も 予約の時も、 日にちや人数の間違いがないか 何度も確認してしていますし、 予約完了のメールにも、 宿泊日3日前に届いたお知らせ メールにも間違いなく大人1名 子供1名になっているので見てもらいました。 すると 「そうですね。分かりました」と言われました。 「え？」と言うと「大丈夫です」と…。 普通、お時間取らせましたとか 申し訳ありませんでしたとかの 一言があっても良くないですか。 こちらとしてはすごく気分悪いですよね…｡ その言葉があるだけで 全然違うのになぁと思いました。
