I stayed at this place during my vacation in Iriomote-jima due to the scuba diving outfit that was located at the same sight. It came well-recommended from a website that I found on scuba diving in Iriomote-jima and the pictures of the location looked great. It was a little more expensive, but I am willing to pay for convenience. || Arriving there I was more than satisfied with the accommodations. The view from the villa was directly overlooking a beautiful bay and the rooms were very spacious. The room a small patios terrace that overlooked this bay and there was small pool near it in which one could cool off when the weather was too hot. Of course a Japanese-style breakfast was included in the price. ||There was only one thing that spoiled my stay here. They refused to take non-Japanese speakers on scuba diving trips. Now I have been scuba diving several times in Japan and I never had this problem before. You do not even speak underwater. Based on this experience I can NOT recommend these accommodations and diving company t hotel...
Read moreOur stay was nice and confortable: rooms are large and well equipped, the garden is perfect for relaxation, in front of an amazing bay, breakfast is quite good even for Western tastes.||A special mention to the staff that really goes the extra mile for helping the client.||||On the negative side, the Villa is far from everything so a car is recommended. There is a bus stop at 10 min distance, but only 2-3 rides are scheduled each day. A couple of amazing beaches are within walking distance.||If you do not have a car (like us), for dinner the staff will make for you a reservation at one of the restaurants in the area, and they will drive and pick you up. They will also pick you up and drive you to the port...
Read moreI stayed here with my wife just for one night. There were a few restaurants and bars within 10-minute walk and I actually visited the bar named Next to Pineapple House, where we enjoyed at night.||I could see the Tsukigahama beach from the room. That would be good if it was fine weather, although I am sorry that it had been rainy day during our stay in Iriomote.||The room was medium sized but clean. The dinners were inclusive in our package, but we were taken to the other hotel named Il Mare, 30-second drive from our hotel, to have dinners, where the tastes of meals were fair.||The receptionists were friendly although most of them came from outside of this island. ||In total, this hotel is...
