古民家の宿 たるみず — Hotel in Tarumizu

Great little place to stay at when you want to be on this side of Kagoshima bay. The hosts are very nice, the place has its own kind of charm. Rooms are well equipped with their own individual refrigerator, plus one large one in the common area - which also has a microwave. Best part for me the the bath - they have the ancient Goemon-buro - it doesn’t get more traditional then that. Imagine huge pot a cannibal tribe would want to cook...

When we looked at the photos, we thought it's a very traditional Japanese Airbnb. However, all the Airbnb guests have to share 2 washrooms and one bath room with airbnb guests, and the cafe guests. It's quite unacceptable for us. We ended up rent another hotel rooms!! ||A very small hot tub but needs to be share with other guests too. Will they really change the...

Very kind staff. I arrived more than half hour after checkin time, they were waiting for me without any complaints even they were not obliged to. All place was really nice with spirit of true japanesse ryokan....
