Maruhei Minshuku — Hotel in Tateyama

This is an anglers' paradise. On the edge of Tateyama port and near Okinoshima beach. You can rent a fishing rod and enjoy yourself, I didn't because I was there for snorkelling. I had a tatami room, big enough for one even two people, with a TV, A/C, window and futon. Toilet and showers are shared. I went for the cheaper half board at ¥5,500. DInner was nice but you must eat it in your room, for breakfast got a good ice coffee and some bread with jam and other bits,again to eat in your room, that is part of the cheaper deal(¥5,500). They also have a more fancy package with lots of nice fish for dinner,drinks,etc. I enjoyed my stay and if you are a biker, there's a car cleaner near by where you can wash your bike. Some people might not like the place because they say there are lots of signs written all over the walls, but they are all in Japanese so I didn't read anything :) The lady who checked me in was very kind and patient, explaining every detail. I will go back because they were nice and the room was very clean, as well as the shower and if you are into a Japanese hot bath, they also have that in the evening. Thank you...
