Kencha Rumah — Hotel in Tokyo

Kencha Rumah has friendly host and some neat and convenient features such as car hire and diving suit rentals. This is a guest house, not a hotel. No meals are furnished. Buy your own breakfast cereals and some milk in the supermarket nearby and eat bento in the evening. There's a microwave oven and a gas stove if you realy feel like cooking.||I did not like having to make my own bed. Especially the bunk beds in the family room we rented. Neither did I like to have to put 100 yen coins for each 2 hours of airco in the room. This is just a hassle. The common room was nice to have breakfast and dinner in. However, there's no hot water to do the dishes here so you've got to get this from the bathroom in your own room. That's an unnecessary hassle too. Therefore, only three points for this place. Recently spent an enjoyable night here. We had one night on Hachijojima after spending three days on Aogashima. We made a reservation for one night here thinking we were getting one room for three people. It turned out we got a self-contained apartment. For the price, we were chuffed. The place had everything you need to self-cater. ||||Other positives were that the staff picked us up from the airport and were nice enough to drop us off again. They also organised for me to courier a box of passionfruit back to Tokyo. ||||They also rent cars out. A car is highly recommended. We hadn't previously reserved one and they had none left, but we could get one from the Mobil around the corner. ||||I would definitely stay here again. Lovely staff. A good sleep. lovely place out in nature, our rooms are small but clean and cheap. Great kitchen for own cooking with all you need. Outside is clean and good for BBQ. Rent-A-Car service is excellent. Pick-up from Airport service is great. Shopping places near-by (10 minutes n. walk). The owner is very kind, actually from the Gunma Prefecture and single 👍👏🌸, ❤️. Best place to stay at — worth h to he money 💰✅
